New: A Rebuilt Onboarding I rebuilt onboarding from scratch. Instead of throwing every option at you up front, it now asks what you actually want out of the app and sets things up around that. Hopefully it feels less like homework and more like it gets you. A More Reliable Live Activity I put real work into the Live Activity on your lock screen. It now updates more often and more reliably while you're charging, so the battery number you glance at is actually current instead of a few minutes stale. New: Beta Toggle There's a new Beta toggle in Settings. Right now it doesn't do anything, but if you flip it on, any experimental features I'm testing will show up here automatically as they land. Turn it on once and forget about it. Stay tuned. New: Notifications Schedule You can now choose when battery alerts reach you. Set active hours so they stay quiet overnight, and if you want, limit them to only while charging or only while on battery. Fixed: Truncated Percentage Pills I fixed a small but genuinely annoying bug where the percentage pills during setup were getting cut off to "20…" instead of "20 %" on some iPhones. Under the Hood I quieted down a batch of noisy error reports that were cluttering my logs, so the real problems are easier to spot and fix. A Thank You Big thanks for the kind little tip from Germany. Getting a donation for my work still feels unreal, and it genuinely keeps me going when motivation runs low. Smart Detect got noticeably better at telling a cat from a person. Far fewer false locks while you're using the keyboard. Typing fast no longer looks like a paw, and holding a single key (erasing a paragraph, or drawing a divider of dashes or dots) no longer sets it off. You also get more control: Sensitivity now has five levels instead of three, with a gentler low setting, plus a new option to ignore single-key holds. Smart Detect is optional, off by default, and runs entirely on your Mac. Built by one developer and tested by one cat.

- Big improvements to voice notes! You can now record much longer: up to 60 minutes on iPhone (was 5) and 15 minutes on Apple Watch. Recordings keep going when your screen locks or a call comes in, then pick right back up. On iOS the recording-limit warning now follows your Sounds and Vibrate settings too. Fixed a bug from a recent update where an already-authenticated connection would wait for re-authentication, causing delays with tmux or would refuse to attempt authentication for some server configurations. The keyboard bar now has a three-way visibility setting: Never, Automatically, or Always, remembered separately for the on-screen and external keyboards. The Always setting keeps the bar on screen for the whole session, even when the terminal is not focused. Export servers as a CSV file from the (...) button above the server list. New 'settitle' shell command sets the terminal, tab, and window title and works in bash, zsh, and fish. An empty argument restores the default title. This requires updating the Shell Integration. Fixed a crash when a port forward was configured with a port number above 65535.

We wanted to get this initial version out to you so we can start gathering feedback and continue making it better. Not a mod? We also added the highly requested Share Comment as Image feature and cleaned up a lot of bugs and rough edges. We have a lot of cool features planned for the next couple of updates, so stay tuned :D New: - Share Comment as Image - Generate an image of a comment thread to share with your friends. Choose how many parent comments you would like to show and whether you would like post details included. - Mod Mail - Sort and filter through your inbox. Respond in a conversation view as either yourself or the subreddit. Post internal notes for your fellow moderators, and much more! - Mod Queue - Review your mod queue across all subreddits you moderate, or filter by a specific subreddit. Review reports and take action on posts/comments: Approve, Remove, Mark Spam, or Ignore Reports. - Inline Mod Actions - Take actions on content in subreddits you moderate. In the various Narwhal context menus, you will find options to: Approve, Remove, Mark Spam, Ignore/Unignore Reports, Lock/Unlock, Ban a User, Distinguish posts/comments, Sticky/Unsticky, Mark/Unmark NSFW, Mark/Unmark Spoiler, Set Link Flair, and View Approval Info. - There is a new "Mod Tools" option in the side menu to access Mod Mail and the Mod Queue. If you would prefer to hide these, there is a new setting in Settings > Side Menu Customization. - In Settings > Action Bar & Navigation Editor, there are two new options to add Mod Mail or Mod Queue to your bars. - Posts will now indicate if their author has been distinguished as a moderator. - Comments will now show a lock icon if a moderator has locked them. Improved: - All post types now support submitting body text alongside them. This means you can submit images, albums, and links with body text as well! - Multireddits will now always be sorted alphabetically in the side menu. Fixed: - Fixed an issue with certain links not loading. This happened often with Wikipedia links. - Fixed an issue with certain comment links not displaying correctly. One example of this is chess.com bot comments. - Fixed an issue with Reddit video player links in comments not working. - The album content type icon no longer hides on white images. - Fixed an issue with YouTube videos not loading in the native iOS video player. - Fixed a crash that could occur when tapping to go forward too quickly. - The "Open in Narwhal" icon in the iOS share sheet now displays correctly. - Post titles are no longer cut off in a rare layout case. - The Mark Read / Hide Read buttons above posts now use the correct theme colors. The keyboard bar now has a three-way visibility setting: Never, Automatically, or Always, remembered separately for the on-screen and external keyboards. The Always setting keeps the bar on screen for the whole session, even when the terminal is not focused. Export servers as a CSV file from the (...) button above the server list. Fixed a bug from a recent update where an already-authenticated connection would wait for re-authentication, causing delays with tmux. New 'settitle' shell command sets the terminal, tab, and window title and works in bash, zsh, and fish. An empty argument restores the default title. This requires updating the Shell Integration. Fixed a crash when a port forward was configured with a port number above 65535.

A few reliability fixes for widgets, particularly around the Handled and checklist indicators introduced in 26.6. Two bugs caused Handled checkmarks and checklist progress counters to disappear from widgets. In the first, marking a date as Handled or checking off a checklist item didn't update the widget immediately — the indicator only appeared after you left the app and came back, so it could be missing for your entire current session. In the second, every sync run (including the automatic background sync) was silently overwriting the widget snapshot without the action-tracking data, wiping all indicators shortly after they appeared. Both are now fixed. Also fixed: later in the day, a date happening today could sometimes sort below one happening tomorrow in your widgets. Today's dates now always appear first, regardless of what time the widget last refreshed.
