Brutal briefings. No BS.
[SYS] PATCH 8.0.1 // TUNE.UP 8.0.1 is a tune-up on top of RAD 8. Mostly radar, plus the things you flagged. - Radar is faster and much lighter. Atlas opens quicker, and coming back to it is instant instead of replaying the whole loading sweep - Radar now draws rain that its own coverage edges were hiding. Where a radar cannot actually see, the map stops painting clear sky over real weather - A new radar loading animation - The wind layer shows the hour you are actually in, not one several hours ahead - Severe alerts hold on when a source drops out instead of vanishing, and your widgets pick up a change right away - Alerts follow you now. Driving across town could make the app think you were reading about another city, and while it thought that, your phone could stay quiet through a warning your widget and Watch were already showing - The second severe warning of an evening no longer goes silent, two live warnings no longer collapse into one, and a practice bulletin can no longer hide a real one - Japan and France: two of the forecast models we blend were reporting a 0% chance of rain every hour. Fixed, and checked against real weather station records - Air quality in Europe now reads one number on one scale, everywhere on the screen - The moisture card reads dew point, so the comfort call is more accurate - Storm risk names the day when the risk is on a later one - The app no longer holds a gigabyte of radar while it sits in the background, so iOS is far less likely to close it behind you - Your app icon pick sticks again - Theme fixes for Field Notes and the Now screen, plus polish and fixes across the app Visit www.radweather.app for features, updates, community stuff, and whatever else we accidentally make next. Stay R.A.D.

Manage Channels, Follow & Feed
This update includes the ability to create more powerful Smart Search filters, new Channels Inbox controls, and faster transcript loading: CHANNELS INBOX • Added per-channel filtering settings for YouTube Shorts. • Added search and sorting options when importing channels from your videos. • You can now browse, review, and restore videos previously removed from your inbox. • Global filters can now be transferred between devices. Save your filters on one device, then press and hold “Edit Filters” on another device to import them. SMART SEARCH • You can now filter videos older than a specified number of days based on their added, published, or watched date. • You can now filter videos by a Channels Inbox folder, making it easy to create a list of videos from every channel in that folder. OTHER • Fetched video transcripts are now cached by default and load instantly.
Never miss important dates
Better tap targets in the Contact Spotlight widget, and contact photos that survive a tinted Home Screen. Contact Spotlight taps: The widget is built around a single person, but tapping it only ever opened one date. Tapping the contact's name or photo now opens their contact screen, where all of their dates, sync switches, and defaults live. On the medium and large sizes, the empty space around the date rows does the same. Tapping a specific date row still opens that date. Photos on a tinted Home Screen: With the Home Screen set to the tinted or clear look, contact photos in KeepDates widgets rendered as solid colored circles rather than faces, and the initials shown for contacts without a photo became filled dots. Photos now keep their shading, and initials stay readable. Lock Screen widgets got the same fix.

#1 RevenueCat client
App Store reviews and ratings, rebuilt. Browse reviews by territory, sort them, open one in full, and see your rating at a glance. Connect it once with an App Store Connect key. Notifications are now free. Sales and subscription alerts no longer need a Pro plan, and webhook setup is one tap instead of a form. RCKit no longer stores your RevenueCat events on the device. They are read and shown, never kept, which is what the privacy policy always said. Subscribers and Transactions show the store app that owns each purchase, icon and name included, instead of the shared project record. Overview's Top Segments can break down by App: one row per store app rather than one per project, with tidier labels. A webhook Authorization header can no longer lock you out of your own account. Returning after a break? If Apple has an offer waiting for you, the upgrade screen now shows it and applies it at checkout.

Screenshots for every release
PreviewSmith now works with newer versions of Xcode • Updated Xcode support — Xcode changed how it grants another app access to your projects, and PreviewSmith now handles the new flow end to end. It asks Xcode to open your project, you approve it once, and the document is connected. The connection panel names the step it is waiting on, so an unapproved connection no longer looks like a stall. • Switch project — pick which open Xcode project a document acts on, from the connection panel, on either version of Xcode. • Builds before rendering — a preview can only render against build products, so refreshing the gallery now builds your project first, and shows its progress while it does. • Build errors in the gallery — when that build fails, the gallery lists the errors with file and line rather than coming back empty, and offers to open the project in Xcode.
Family Shopping & To Do List
This update clears out the paper cuts you've told us about. • Basket on the Finished screen - see what was checked out, un-tick single items, or add everything back to the list in one tap. • Steadier shared lists - we fixed rare cases where items could go missing from shared lists or show as ticked when they weren't. • Sync Across Devices (Premium) - strengthened cross-device syncing for premium users. Turn it on in Settings. • Paste works everywhere again — long-press a line on your list and Paste now appears reliably, including on the lists you reuse week after week. • Smoother scrolling on the lists screen — scrolling now works wherever your thumb lands, even with lots of lists. To reorder, hold briefly on a list's name until it lifts, then drag. • Better on smaller iPhones — the line you're typing now stays visible above the keyboard and suggestions. • Cleaner typing — fixed a stuck blank line at the top of lists, and rare cases where pasting onto an item or backspacing at the start of a line could lose text. Something still off? Tap Send Feedback in any list's menu — we read every message.

Smart Spending & Money Manager
What's New on Actual Budget: Reliability work — and one change you will notice. We moved the request to rate the app. It no longer appears while you are still setting things up. It now appears only after the app has actually done something useful for you, and you can dismiss it without leaving what you were doing. This update also adds new internal diagnostics that help us catch slowdowns and crashes much faster, so real fixes reach you sooner. Two of the busiest screens were rebuilt to fit far more on one screen, and restoring a previous purchase is now a proper button that tells you what happened. What you will notice: - Restore Purchases is now a clear, separate button that confirms the result - Expenses and Income show far more at once, with search a single tap away - Amounts are formatted correctly for currencies that do not use decimals - The app reaches its first screen faster - Fixed text that could appear untranslated in some languages - Expenses added with Siri or Shortcuts appear straight away in a list you already have open - Widgets refresh when the app starts, not only when you come back to it - Removing a duplicate category no longer leaves its expenses without one Under the hood: - The rating request was removed from onboarding entirely - Smoother progress bars throughout setup and in the widgets - New internal diagnostics that show us where the app slows down or stops responding - More complete reporting when something goes wrong, so the real cause is found sooner Thank you for using Actual Budget! Your feedback shapes every update we ship.

Coffee Recipes & Bean Tracker
What’s New: • Keep the photos from a coffee bag scan. Opt in while you scan and the camera shots are copied to your Photos at full quality — the app remembers your choice for next time. Improvements: • Scanning a bag is now one clear screen: review your photos, add a second one only if the bag needs it, see what the scan costs up front, and tap a single Analyze button. • While a scan runs, the app says what it is doing — preparing your photos, reading the label — and lets you know when a slow connection is making it take longer. • The Favorites screen now has a proper empty state, with a shortcut straight to the recipe list. Bug Fixes: • Fixed the scan screen looking frozen: the photo sheet stayed on top of the loading overlay and sat off-centre. • Fixed the confirm checkmark sitting out of line when editing grind size on a recipe. • Fixed low-contrast icons on the coffee beans empty and error screens in dark mode.
Journal, Work Logs & Ideas
• Hide date & time Hide dates, times and day sections to display all notes clearly and without distraction, just like in a standard notes app. Apply the setting globally or only to individual groups. • Bug fixes & improvements We’ve improved multi-select, archiving from the note menu (Lognote Pro), writing and planning, and fixed additional issues.
Care reminders, garden diary
Greetings, plant parents! This update helps you see what’s ahead: - Tasks due soon, at a glance: the task list can now show tasks that are coming up — use the new banner at the top of the list to show or hide them for the day. Guilt-free by design: a task due soon never becomes overdue; it simply comes due on its own date. - Plan your care days: pick your favorite days in the new Task Preferences in Settings, and the task list will start those days with due-soon tasks shown — perfect for batching care into one relaxed session. - Smoother timeline and photos: fixed an issue where the timeline or photo grid on a plant’s page could freeze or stutter while scrolling — photos load quicker, and the timeline now refreshes right away when you complete a task. - Plus a round of polish and performance improvements throughout the app. Hope you’ll enjoy this update! Please let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback.

Spatial Mac. Real Displays.
VisionDesk 2.0.2 is our biggest update yet — a major leap from 1.0.2 for your spatial Mac workspace. • Turn ordinary Mac content into Live 3D, or play Side-by-Side and Over-Under media with eye swap, convergence and adjustable depth. • Stream improved Mac audio and use pointer, click, scroll and external keyboard input directly in the workspace. • Move, scale, turn and recenter every screen together with Move All, while keeping full individual placement, size, tilt, turn and bend controls. • Choose Performance, High or hardware-adaptive Max independently from Looks Like, aspect ratio and orientation. Performance now starts correctly on the first launch, and Max preserves at least film-friendly 24 fps. • Use 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 21:9, 32:9, portrait and Retina-backed display modes where macOS supports them. • Enjoy a redesigned spatial Dock with clearer one-column controls, stronger contrast, larger angle-safe gaze targets, real row spacing and reliable targeting wherever the Dock is parked. • Create smaller screens with a precise logarithmic size control that no longer jumps when released. • Move between screens without a black flash: the last complete picture remains visible until the new focus texture is ready. • Auto Arrange, Match Mac Arrangement and curved-layout rebasing keep screen identity, direction, windows and manual placement intact as your workspace changes. • See time, session duration, connection health and Vision Pro battery information in the workspace. • Keep your Apple system environment, reveal a Desk Window toward your keyboard, or use a private Custom Photo environment with optional spatial depth. • Benefit from major HEVC/H.264, UDP/TCP, FEC, retransmit, adaptive bitrate, presentation cadence, reconnect, decoder, input and persistence improvements for faster and more dependable long sessions. One complete display remains free, including every quality mode, Mac audio and input, all supported shapes, spatial controls, Side-by-Side, Over-Under and Live 3D. Pro adds two to five displays, Saved Workspaces, Precision Layout and Custom Photo environments. Matching Mac Host 2.0.2: https://in16guus.github.io/visiondesk-releases/downloads.html

Bug fixes.
Copy, Search, Manage, Share
• Touch and hold an item and the preview shows the item's own text, instead of repeating the title. • Cleaner item cards — the hairline border is gone, and image previews are rounded again. • The sync indicator stays hidden while you are selecting items. • Paste now reads App Store introductory offers exactly as they are configured, instead of assuming every offer is a free trial. A discounted first year shows up as a discounted first year at its real price, and buying one no longer produces free-trial wording or a trial reminder.
Notepad calculator, offline
Folders Your notes have somewhere to go. däpter opens on a folder list now: All Notes at the top, then yours, each row carrying a count of what's inside. Tap one to see just those notes. Make a folder, rename it, or delete it with a swipe. Move a note in from the swipe menu on any note row, or from the editor's own menu. A note you start inside a folder belongs to it from the first keystroke. Search still searches everything, wherever you are. Deleting a folder asks first, and the notes inside keep their 30 days in Recently Deleted rather than going with it. Quick note Tap the däpter logo for a scratch pad that's always there. It does the math as you type like any other note, but there's no title, no row in your list and nothing to clean up. Whatever you leave in it is waiting next time. Also new Folders sync over iCloud alongside your notes, so the ones you made on your iPhone show up on your iPad. Needs däpter Plus. The welcome tour is one screen that moves with you instead of five that flick past.

Secure & Hide Photos/Videos
Join us on Discord! Find the link to our Discord community in the settings view! Bug fixes: Your older albums are back: if you created albums in an earlier version of Encamera, they could vanish from your album list after updating, even though every photo and video was still safely encrypted on your device. Encamera now finds those albums again and restores them with all of their contents. Tidier file storage: restored albums are moved alongside your other albums, so everything lives in one place if you ever browse Encamera's folder in the Files app.

Workout Tracker, Habits & HR
► BACK WHERE YOU LEFT OFF If FitWoody ever sent you back to the login screen, this update finds your session and signs you back in, with your history and Plus intact. A change of address on our servers left some sessions stranded, and the app now recovers them on launch. ► GOALS THAT SAY WHAT THEY ARE The Goals screen no longer hesitates between your own goals and the examples we show when Plus is off. It settles on the right one before it appears, and every entry point tells you the same thing. ► EMAIL ON YOUR TERMS FitWoody news is now a single switch in Settings, so you decide whether it reaches you and you can change your mind whenever you like. Your choice is saved the moment you flip it instead of when you leave the screen, and what we send arrives in the language you use FitWoody in. Marketing push notifications are gone too, so what is left is only about your workouts and your sleep. ► IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES The weight and height units FitWoody picks from your region are now saved properly the first time, so they stop reverting on you. Plus small refinements across the app to keep everything fast, smooth, and reliable.

Set your active hours and choose whether alerts only fire while charging, while on battery, or at all times. That means fewer unwanted low-battery pings in the middle of the night, like at 2am, when you’d rather not be interrupted. We also rebuilt the onboarding flow for a smoother start, tuned Live Activity updates so the Lock Screen stays better aligned with your charging state, and refreshed the Feature Requests screen with an updated layout. Stay tuned for some more goodies in September!

Cozy daily mystery puzzles
This one's a big one, and most of it came from you. • Hints. Three free steps when you're stuck: who to look at, which room, then the exact square. A player on Reddit asked, and I promised it on the spot. Hints stay free and unlimited, and there's a switch in Settings if you'd rather go without. • Trophies. Twelve of them, quietly waiting on the Stats page. The win screen now tells you when you've set a new best for a difficulty. • Every locale has its own colors, light and dark. Closed cases file themselves into a drawer below the open ones. • On the accusation screen you can hold a button to peek back at the board, and there's a setting that lets a solved board close the case on its own. A player who wrote in asked for both. • Roomers is in Spanish now. The whole thing, clue sentences included. A blind player from ONCE in Spain asked, then offered to test it. • For VoiceOver players: four rotors on the board (furniture, suspects, notes, clue squares), a How to Play section written for you, and the terminology fixed where it was backwards. The AppleVis thread made this update. • Larger text all the way up, Reduce Motion respected everywhere, and contrast fixed in a few places it was quietly bad. • The first time you fill a board, the game tells you what the lit button does. A reviewer asked "then what?" and he was right. Keep writing in. I read every email, and it decides what gets built next.

Dyslexia & Web Readability
FontFlex: Fonts for Safari This update is all about accessibility — because FontFlex should work for everyone, no matter how you read or navigate your phone. VoiceOver users can now hear exactly what every font, size, weight, and style control does. These controls were previously silent to VoiceOver — that's fixed. Buttons you tap often (close, favorite, dismiss) are now bigger and easier to hit. Text throughout the app now resizes properly when you increase your device's text size in Settings. Onboarding animations now respect Reduce Motion, so they won't play if you've turned that on. We also fixed several places where text was showing in English even when your device language wasn't — more of the app now displays correctly in your language. Thanks for reading with us.

NEW: LIVE ACTIVITIES: A single API call puts a live tile on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, even while the app is closed Progress bars move in place, countdowns tick on their own, and the tile leaves when the job ends One URL runs the whole tile: call it to start, call again to update, add end=1 to finish Perfect for 3D prints, laundry, backups, deploys, or anything a script can measure NEW: LIVE ACTIVITY BUILDER The Builder gains a Live Activity tab: pick a symbol from a gallery, watch a live preview, then copy URL, cURL, and JavaScript examples that just work NEW: BREAK THROUGH FOCUS Ask for a time-sensitive notification and it can cut through Focus and quiet hours A master switch on this device always has the final say READY FOR YOUR NEXT PHONE Moving to a new phone keeps your links, beacons, and groups safe, with new protection against an old phone undoing the move LONGER MESSAGES, KEPT IN FULL Send up to 16 KB of text. The notification shows a short version and the whole message waits for you in History Your notification titles now stay put instead of turning generic after a sync TAP STRAIGHT TO IT Tapping a notification opens that exact message in History, full text and all, instead of just opening the app OPEN WHERE YOU WANT New Open To setting: choose the screen the app opens to after you have been away, or keep landing right where you left off WHAT'S NEW, IN THE APP After an update, a quick What's New screen shows the highlights once, then lives on in Settings

Subtitle anything
Improved translation reliability during live captions and language changes. Transcrybe now retries stalled macOS system translation sessions and, if language data remains unusable, shows recovery steps instead of staying on “Warming Up...” indefinitely. Improved recovery from brief macOS screen-capture interruptions so subtitles keep retrying silently instead of stopping with an error.

Remember every ride
Ride Journal now finds the climbs in your rides for you. Every sustained rise gets its own card — mapped, graded from gentle to brutal, and categorised from Cat 4 all the way up to Hors Catégorie, with the length, gain, time and gradients behind it. You can also record what the road was like. Wet, greasy, gravel, roadworks, quiet, busy — tag a ride the way you would describe it to a friend, and the entry finally remembers the bit the numbers always missed. Editing is where it should be, too. One sheet now holds the name, your notes, how the ride felt, the road conditions, your photos and your music, so nothing is set in stone the moment you import. Also in this release: more from your rear radar, including passing speed and how close it got, and Ride Journal now speaks German, French and Japanese. Imports are faster, the journal scrolls smoother, and a fair few small things were tidied up along the way.
