Glimshelf is a privacy-first, offline-first comic and manga reader for your own library on iPhone and iPad. It needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The beta is free, with Pro included throughout testing. Start with one of the included sample comics. No account or server setup is needed. Read a few pages, enlarge some lettering, then close and reopen the book. Was anything hard to find? Did you return to the page you expected? If you already use Komga, Kavita or OPDS, you can connect your library too. Try downloading a book and reading offline, then check your saved position after reconnecting. Glimshelf also opens local CBZ, CBR, CB7, PDF and EPUB files. Please use content you have permission to test. Tell us what worked and what got in the way through Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight or support@glimshelf.com. For a problem, include your device and OS version, what you tried and what happened. Use sample content in screenshots and remove private information. Never include passwords, tokens, private server URLs, filenames, titles, page images or account identifiers. This is beta software. Background downloads and sync depend on system scheduling and connectivity. Glimshelf does not upload local diagnostics automatically; Apple/TestFlight may separately collect enabled beta feedback and crash data under Apple's controls. What’s New: • An immersive brewing screen: the whole screen fills with coffee as your brew goes on, and the brew ends with a last drop. Turn it on from the gear icon before you start a brew, or in Settings → Advanced / Beta Features. The classic timer is still there whenever you want it. • Undo a delete: after deleting a brew, a bean or a recipe you get a few seconds to bring it back. • Suggested a roaster we didn’t have yet? Once they’re on Timer.Coffee, you’ll see a thank-you with a link to their page. • Review a scanned bag right on the bean form, instead of on a separate screen. Improvements: • A new ending for the classic timer: the ring closes and fills like a cup instead of shaking. • On the last step, the button now reads “Finish” and shows up right away. • Freshness reminders are rebuilt. They now nudge you about a bag you haven’t brewed yet as it reaches its peak, or one you’ve stopped brewing before its peak is over, and never months after roasting. • A clearer recipe setup screen and an easier-to-read next-step preview while brewing. • Numbers stay on the same line as their units in brew steps. Bug Fixes: • Fixed deleting a custom recipe also deleting every brew you had logged with it. Your brew diary now keeps those entries. • Fixed deleting a bean removing its name from your past brews. • Fixed freshness reminders almost never arriving. • Fixed the “first brew” congratulations showing again on later brews.

A refresh button that means it, and honest refresh history. Refreshes that land: Tapping refresh on a widget could spin and then show the same data. A request now gets 5 seconds rather than 15, matching the few seconds the system gives a widget's refresh button, and a refresh that still doesn't succeed says so. Set how long a source waits: A source that is genuinely slow can have up to 30 seconds, in the Request section of its editor. Complications are back on Apple Watch: Dashlet's watch complications required a much newer watchOS than the watch app itself, so on most watches they never appeared. They now work on every watch that can run the Dashlet watch app. Fixes: A refresh interrupted by leaving the app, or by the system cutting a background pass short, is no longer counted as a failure or allowed to delay the next one. Leaving the app briefly no longer cancels a refresh in progress. Refreshes also go out together rather than one after another, so a slow source no longer holds up the rest. Diagnostics now shows the refreshes your widgets ran on their own.

The ready-made folder-name presets now read in the language you picked for names, instead of always showing up in Russian.
