Glimshelf is a privacy-first, offline-first comic and manga reader for your own library on iPhone and iPad. It needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The beta is free, with Pro included throughout testing. Start with one of the included sample comics. No account or server setup is needed. Read a few pages, enlarge some lettering, then close and reopen the book. Was anything hard to find? Did you return to the page you expected? If you already use Komga, Kavita or OPDS, you can connect your library too. Try downloading a book and reading offline, then check your saved position after reconnecting. Glimshelf also opens local CBZ, CBR, CB7, PDF and EPUB files. Please use content you have permission to test. Tell us what worked and what got in the way through Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight or support@glimshelf.com. For a problem, include your device and OS version, what you tried and what happened. Use sample content in screenshots and remove private information. Never include passwords, tokens, private server URLs, filenames, titles, page images or account identifiers. This is beta software. Background downloads and sync depend on system scheduling and connectivity. Glimshelf does not upload local diagnostics automatically; Apple/TestFlight may separately collect enabled beta feedback and crash data under Apple's controls. This is a big modernization release. • Expressions now resemble more the way they are written mathematically • Enter a function before its value: touch sin and it opens sin(, with the closing paren dimmed until you close it. The whole value can be typed inside, operators included — sin(20 + 30) • The nth root takes its radicand first and its index after the closing paren; permutations and combinations take the population, then the number drawn • Permutations and combinations are written P(8,3) and C(8,3), and the population is now entered first: 8 P 3. Expressions entered the previous way answer differently • History can be shared across your devices through iCloud — off until you turn it on in Settings • Unit Converter results are now saved in History, listed with your calculations in date order. Settings in History shows calculations only, conversions only, or both • A saved conversion can be sent back to the converter with Paste to Converter, which works it out again at today's rates • The converter can show a comment field above the units, kept with the conversion saved in History • Each currency in the converter now shows its country's flag, making the one you want quicker to spot • Button style and number pad location moved to the app's page in Settings, leaving the calculator's settings menu to the things you change while calculating • Refreshed, translucent Liquid Glass toolbars across the app • The calculator's toolbar now matches the rest of the app on iPad — the same size, spacing and grouping as History, the Unit Converter and Information • Toolbar buttons grow with the system text size, so they stay readable at larger accessibility settings • Improved VoiceOver and Voice Control: clearer names for buttons and menus, and numbers read naturally • Hold the Function Group button to choose a group by name — trigonometry, hyperbolic or statistics — with the current one marked.
