Latest update notes

Improved creation of new files:
- New files can now be created with just two taps: After tapping the “+” button, a file name is suggested (e.g. “Untitled.md”), which can be accepted directly with the “Create” button.
- The file extension can now optionally be selected from a menu. This menu can be customized via Settings -> New File.
- The preselected file extension can also be configured in settings.

Other improvements:
- Custom CSS for Markdown preview: Save your custom styles in the file “Local Files/#Textastic/markdown.css” and the web preview will use it when previewing Markdown files.
- Improved (S)FTP upload and download speed over fast network connections by using larger send and receive buffers.
- The Wi-Fi IP address for the WebDAV server is now determined in a different way. This should fix a rare problem where the WebDAV server could not be activated even though Wi-Fi was available.

- Fixed: custom CSS did not work for external files opened with the “Open…” command or shared via the Files app.

As keywords are a crucial part of getting your app to be found in the app store, we took some time to polish this experience even further and made it better. It was one of the first things we built for Helm, so it was time to process some of your feedback here!

■ Keywords improvements
- You can now easily see keywords from related languages.
- When adding keywords, if you were adding a word that is a prefix of an existing word in the keyword list, it was flagged as a repeat.
- Keywords sometimes had an additional comma.
- We now highlight all the keywords that would still fit within your limit (and an option to filter them out).
- We improved the AI prompt to generate and translate better keywords.

■ New:
- We now show a little App Store Award icon next to your app if you’re one of the lucky winners.
- We now set the locale to the correct language of each text field.
- Added ways to follow our BlueSky account as well.
- You can now change the position of a screenshot via the context menu (right-click).

■ Improvements and Fixes
- Added help labels that show the full group name for TestFlight beta group labels.
- Fixed another App Icon issue for tvOS apps.
- We improved the AI prompt to generate and translate better text everywhere.
- Fixed a bug that would prevent 6.9” iPhone screenshots from being accepted.
- Fixed a bug that made Helm crash when adding certain screenshots.
- You can now see all translations of Subtitle and Name no matter what.
- We now highlight the actual error when present during onboarding.
- Removed some unnecessary animations.

■ Fun fact:
It’s far from finished, but this is the very first update that has been submitted with Helm for iOS…Coming next year!
