Glimshelf is a privacy-first, offline-first comic and manga reader for your own library on iPhone and iPad. It needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The beta is free, with Pro included throughout testing. Start with one of the included sample comics. No account or server setup is needed. Read a few pages, enlarge some lettering, then close and reopen the book. Was anything hard to find? Did you return to the page you expected? If you already use Komga, Kavita or OPDS, you can connect your library too. Try downloading a book and reading offline, then check your saved position after reconnecting. Glimshelf also opens local CBZ, CBR, CB7, PDF and EPUB files. Please use content you have permission to test. Tell us what worked and what got in the way through Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight or support@glimshelf.com. For a problem, include your device and OS version, what you tried and what happened. Use sample content in screenshots and remove private information. Never include passwords, tokens, private server URLs, filenames, titles, page images or account identifiers. This is beta software. Background downloads and sync depend on system scheduling and connectivity. Glimshelf does not upload local diagnostics automatically; Apple/TestFlight may separately collect enabled beta feedback and crash data under Apple's controls. We were hard at work to support as many as possible of them: - A redefined Widget experience: The widget was rebuilt from the ground up. Its now more colourful and supports many different sizes. In the two largest sizes, you will directly get your reading summary. - App Intents: We support App Intents now! You can start and stop reading sessions, add notes and do many other nice things by asking Siri or through the Shortcuts app. - Generated Glossary Items: We now generate glossary items from your reading notes with Apple’s local AI models. - Support for On-Screen Awareness: Ask Siri questions about the things you see on screen, like: “When is the next book of this author coming out?” Only available with Siri AI. We also have some bug fixes in store. The ones we can remember are: - Fixed a crash when trying to add a manual reading session. Better Remote Fidget now has improved 3D interactions and an experimental option to use it as your default remote window. Enable “Prefer 3D window” in Advanced settings. This update also improves Apple TV connection recovery and fixes delays that could occur between remote commands.

Imports with the Buchen JSON format will check on id, falling back to URL matching. 2. Other import formats will match on URL. 3. When imports update existing bookmarks they do not reset the 'last visited' or visit count total - You can now manage duplicate bookmarks under Settings -> Delete. 1. Bookmarks are grouped by duplicate URL 2. You can manually edit entries or choose to bulk delete all duplicates, saving either the oldest or newest duplicate bookmarks - Smarter duplicate detection that excludes tracking parameters when comparing. - URLs are copied to the clipboard as URLs now so 'Paste and Go' option will show when pasting from Buchen into browsers. - Fixed bug where swipe to delete on the tag or folder list could cause a crash. - The app can now display in landscape on iOS. - 'Find Bookmark' shortcut action can search notes now - Support all widget sizes where they can be supported. - Added 'Sync Status' to Settings. - Fixed missing German localizations
