Timefall is a journaling app I've been wanting to make for myself for a while. The idea is to have a journaling app that you write to your future self. With the app you write entries and they get delivered to you at a random time in a week, a month, or even longer. You choose a random delivery window and after you write the entry its not viewable till its delivered on the due date. On the due date you get a notification that you tap on and read the entry. The delivery process is a special way of revealing the entry to hopefully give you surprise and delight. You can share your entries if you wish with a nice share feature that creates a card like view of the entry. Timefall supports multiple journals, tags, and custom timeframes for when you will receive an entry. Hopefully this app will bring you some joy and make you even look forward to getting a notification from your phone. ## Smaller Features - On Mac, you can now press Command + Up or Command + Down to move the preselected Task around your list - When you open Add Tasks from a selected Task, Stuff now carries over helpful context like its List, Plan, Deadline, and Tags, without copying the Task name or creating a Dependency. - Adding a Task from In Progress now starts it as In Progress and keeps it in No List by default - Shortcuts can now open Stuff directly to In Progress through the existing Open View action. ## Blips - Fixed a Mac blip where Today’s Grouping filter opened inside a second Grouping submenu. - Fixed a blip where trashing a List from its action menu, context menu, or Archive view could look like it worked without actually moving the List to the Trash Bin. That should behave properly now. - Pressing Escape in one Stuff window should no longer dismiss Add Tasks, Chipcards, or other popups you have open in another window. - Fixed a Shared List blip where opening and closing the Teammates Chipcard as a non-leader could make it look like everyone else disappeared from the collaboration. - Tasks added to Today as already completed or cancelled should now show up in Today like you would expect. - Repeating Tasks that wait until the previous Task is completed should no longer show their next repeat date too early. - Pressing Return on a preselected upcoming repeating Task now expands the Task row instead of opening the Repeating Chipcard by mistake. - Fixed a multiselect blip where switching views could leave another screen acting like Tasks were still selected, even when nothing looked selected anymore. - Smoothed out some of Stuff's task dragging and dropping behavior. This update is a full refresh of how the app helps you plan, adapt, and understand your training. Training programs are now built into the Plan tab. Start a guided setup, create a longer training program with your coach, or bring an existing plan into Whistle so your week has more structure than one workout at a time. The coach is more capable across everyday planning. You can use it to build and adjust workouts, review progress, work with your active program, and send richer context with voice and photos. Daily AI summaries help connect your plan, completed workouts, recovery, and upcoming day. The dashboard now brings more training context together: training load, projected load, recovery, sleep, vitals, weather, and workout predictions. Weather planning now looks further ahead, and insights include richer charts and heatmaps. Workout planning also got more precise. Single-goal workouts can now include targets, estimates are smarter, and the underlying health and workout calculations have been expanded for the new training load, recovery, sleep, and workout features.
