Better navigation for infinite scrolling For users on watchOS 10.x using the infinite chat list scroll option, Pigeon 1.8 introduces a new menu option designed to provide a more comfortable and reliable scrolling experience.

Minor notification improvements Improved notification reply implementation for slightly more dependable results. On watchOS 10.0+, notifications grouped by conversation can now display more than one notification within the set, where possible — providing better context at a glance. On watchOS 26.x only, Pigeon 1.8 adds a workaround for a known watchOS issue where notification profile pictures may not appear. When possible, the profile picture may instead display within the expanded notification area.

Messaging UI refinements Fixed an issue where the Condensed Message Bar may not display correctly on watchOS 10 and 11. When interacting with bots on watchOS 10.0+, the Condensed Message Bar now includes a menu button for quicker actions.

New Fast Voice Message Decode option (watchOS 10.0+) Pigeon 1.8 introduces a new Fast Voice Message Decode setting that uses less memory and decodes faster. This mode is off by default, and due to technical constraints, enabling it disables playback seeking.

Bug Fixes and Optimisations The Telegram official library (TDLib) used by Pigeon has been updated to the latest version in this release. Pagination buttons have been improved with expanded hit areas for easier tapping. Added support for detecting Apple Watch SE (3rd Generation). Includes other minor bug fixes and optimisations across the app.
