Parendi reads your bank statements and turns them into a picture of your finances: where your money comes from and where it goes, savings rate, fixed costs, net worth and your FIRE number. Everything is calculated on your Mac. There is no sign-in, and the app talks to neither a server nor your bank. HOW IT WORKS You download the statement from your online banking and drop it into the window. Parendi detects the format on its own: camt.053, OFX/QFX, CSV or Excel. With a CSV you map the columns once, and the app recognizes the same format from then on. Every entry gets a category, and the preview shows you where each suggestion came from: your earlier assignment, a keyword, or an estimate. Whatever you assign by hand is remembered and applied on the next import. Importing the same month again is safe: Parendi compares per account and only takes what is genuinely new. WHAT YOU SEE Overview: income, spending, investments and savings rate, by month and for the year, compared with the year before. Cash flow: a year or a single month as a diagram, from income down to each spending category. Spending splits into fixed and variable costs first, then into categories. Double-click to see the transactions behind it. Spending: your monthly average by category, or fixed costs only. You decide which categories count as fixed. Net worth: freely named positions with monthly values. A mortgage may be negative, and the home you live in counts towards your net worth but not towards the FIRE calculation. FIRE: what your assets add up to at your current savings rate, in today's purchasing power, without typing in assumptions. A projection, not financial advice. CREDIT CARDS COUNTED ONCE Card spending appears twice in your statements: as individual items on the card bill, and as the payment of that bill from your bank account. Parendi counts the items and excludes the bill payment as a transfer. The same goes for transfers between your own accounts. YOUR DATA Your data lives in a SQLite file on your Mac, with no account and no synchronization, and nothing is analyzed in the background. Backups go where you tell them to go, and one click restores them. The estimates come from Apple Intelligence on the device; if it is unavailable, importing still works, just without estimates. A MAC APP Menus, keyboard shortcuts, undo across every step, light and dark, seven languages. None of it is a rebuild. TRIAL AND PURCHASE 30 days from your first import, extendable once by 30 days. After that you can still read, analyze and back up everything; only entering new data waits for the purchase. One purchase, no subscription. REQUIREMENTS macOS 26 or newer. Category estimates need a Mac with Apple Intelligence.

Parendi now shows its own color. - Selected rows, switches and buttons are petrol blue instead of system blue. If you picked your own accent color in System Settings, it stays. - In the sidebar, the arrow keys move from view to view without clicking again after each step.
