Last update:
Steadier picture when the network is not • A frame that disappears completely is now recognised as loss rather than silently waited for. Previously a screen could sit frozen on its last good picture with nothing reporting a problem. • Presentation heals itself on a timer instead of depending on the Mac noticing first, so a stalled screen comes back on its own. • Datagrams that merely arrive out of order are no longer counted as loss. Busy Wi-Fi now costs far less quality than it used to, because the Mac is no longer told about damage that never happened. Layout • A screen can be dragged anywhere around you. Placement was previously constrained to nearer and further along the direction you were already facing. Better together with the new Mac host • VisionDesk Mac Host 1.0.2 adds Motion 90: 1080p-class screens run at 90 fps where the encoder budget measurably allows it, with the virtual display's own refresh rate matched to the stream. • The host update also removes the stutter when focus moves between screens, and repairs a screen showing a still image on its own. Both work with any headset version — updating the Mac is worthwhile even before this app updates. Download the Mac host at https://in16guus.github.io/visiondesk-releases/
