Last update:
New - Stand your iPhone Duo on its edges like a tent, with the outer screen facing you, and the home screen shows your budget left, what you've spent and what's due next, one at a time in large type you can read from across a desk. It moves on every 5 seconds, or swipe to change it sooner. - You can now pick a colour for an account in its editor, the same way as for a category. The first swatch goes back to the colour that comes with the account's type, such as red for a credit card. Improvements - On iPhone Duo, an account, category or recurring item that shows next to its list now stays on screen when you fold the Duo, and shows next to the list again when you unfold it. The Spending screen does the same with the category you picked. - A category you open from the Spending screen now starts at that screen's week, month or all time, so its total matches its card. - A category's colour and symbol now stick when you pick them without tapping Edit first. - New colours now show straight away. After you change a category's colour, edit an account, or move a recurring item to another category, their pages, their cards and the home screen's Upcoming card update at once. A category's new colour used to show only after you restarted Pockity. - On Apple Watch, the category budget widget shows what you've spent next to the category's name, with a pill above its squares that shows what's left, or how much you're over in red. It now uses your ledger's currency. The Budget Left widget fits inside its card, and amounts in the widgets and the Watch app's lists show both digits of the cents, such as $719.40. - Current accounts now have their banking name: Checking in US English, Chequing in Canadian English, and the local name in most other languages, such as Girokonto in German and Compte courant in French. In many languages they used to read as "now" or "present". Fixes - Fixed a crash in the Upcoming widget when it refreshed while Pockity saved a change. The other widgets now read your data the same safer way. - The Transfers widget now shows its amounts in the currency of the ledger you picked. - The home screen's Upcoming card now moves on to what's due next after you add an entry from a recurring item, or edit or delete one, and the home screen counts the new entry straight away. - Switching the home screen between Week, Month and All after a change now shows up-to-date figures. - The Reimbursements category's page no longer lists transfers among its entries, so the list agrees with its total and chart. - In Spanish and French, the account editor's Type label no longer uses the word for typing on a keyboard.
