PulseTiles is a macOS menu bar app that puts any window exactly where you want it, on every display. Hold ⌘ while you drag a window and the screen turns into a grid of 11 zones: halves and thirds at the sides, quarters in the corners, center in the middle. A teal outline previews where the window will land before you let go. Plain drags without ⌘ still move windows freely. Prefer the keyboard? Halves, quarters, thirds, maximize and center each have a ⌃⌥ shortcut, and pressing ⌃⌥← again steps through ½, ⅓ and ⅔. Forgot a shortcut? Press right ⌘ + / to open the launcher, type "left" or use the arrow keys, then press Return. More: - 19 snap actions, each in the menu bar, the launcher and on its own shortcut. - Save a set of windows as an arrangement and apply it from the menu bar or its own shortcut. - Record any shortcut for any snap. PulseTiles flags duplicates and keys another app already uses. - Gaps between windows, gap at screen edges (per display), almost-maximize padding. - Apps that never snap, restore size when dragged out of a zone, launch at login. - Move a window to the previous or next display with ⌃⌥⌘← and ⌃⌥⌘→. - Tile this display (opt-in beta, ⌃⌥⌘T): the focused window takes the left and the rest stack on the right. It never runs on its own. Native Swift (SwiftUI and AppKit), Universal for Apple silicon and Intel. Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and Accessibility permission. No accounts, no tracking, no subscription. $4.99 once after a 7-day free trial, no card needed, 30-day refunds. Made by FelixWeb.
