WeatherRoam is the AI-powered road-trip weather map. Tell it how far you will drive and its AI finds where the weekend looks good. Drop a pin on any destination to see its forecast, your drive time, and any severe-weather alerts, then plan a multi-day trip with the forecast for the day you will actually be at each stop. Most weather apps show one city for today. WeatherRoam shows your whole journey, day by day, and tells you which days look good. AI WEEKEND PICK: THE BEST WEEKEND WEATHER NEARBY Tap Weekend Pick and choose how far you will drive (1 to 6 hours). WeatherRoam's AI reads the weekend forecast for the towns within reach, one day at a time, the way a seasoned traveler would: warm enough, dry enough, calm enough to enjoy. It ranks the places that look best, each with its drive time and a plain verdict: looks good, mixed, or poor. Tap "Show on map" to compare the top picks like any other stop. Made for a last-minute getaway. "LOOKS GOOD" AT A GLANCE Every pin's forecast card tells you which days look good, judged by the same AI, so you can spot the good days without reading every number. AI WITH SAFETY CHECKS BUILT IN Before the AI weighs in, WeatherRoam checks each day for thunderstorms, dangerous heat or cold, high wind, and smoke. A day that fails is never called good. The AI sees only a place name and its forecast, never your location or anything about you. PLAN EVERY DAY OF YOUR TRIP Put your stops in order, set a start date, and give each stop a day of the trip. Every pin shows the forecast for the day you will be there, with numbered stops and a route line so your whole itinerary is clear at a glance. COMPARE UP TO 20 DESTINATIONS SIDE BY SIDE Drop pins on as many as 20 places and compare their forecasts at once, on one map. Perfect for checking every stop on a route before you commit. KNOW YOUR DRIVE TIME, AND GET DIRECTIONS Every stop shows the driving time for that leg, from where you are or from any city you choose as the start. Tap it for turn-by-turn directions in Apple Maps. HOUR-BY-HOUR FORECAST Tap any day for the hourly forecast and the best time to leave. A THURSDAY HEADS-UP Turn on the weekend notification and WeatherRoam lets you know on Thursday evening when a place you checked looks good for the weekend, or invites you to check this week's Weekend Pick. At most once a week, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings. SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS Live alerts appear on the map, so you can route around storms, heat, and winter weather. In the US those are National Weather Service (NWS/NOAA) alerts, matched to each pin's own forecast zone. Outside the US, alerts come from the local issuing service. SHARE YOUR TRIP Send your whole plan to whoever you are traveling with. They open the same map, with your stops, dates, and forecasts. SAVE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES Star the spots you check often, like home, the cabin, or the trailhead, and drop them all on the map with one tap. BUILT FOR THE WAY PEOPLE ACTUALLY TRAVEL A camping trip where you need to know which night gets the rain. An RV or van life route across several states. A hiking weekend where the forecast decides the trailhead. A national park loop, or a long holiday drive to family. Anything where the weather is different at every stop, and the day you arrive is the day that matters.
