I made Resettle because unplugging a monitor piles every window onto the laptop, and plugging back in doesn't reliably put them back. It's a menu bar app that remembers where each window goes on each display setup (laptop only, home, office, clamshell) and puts it back when you dock, plug in or wake. It learns on its own, so there's nothing to save. It tells identical monitors apart by serial number, restores full screen windows, and leaves a window alone if it can't tell which one it is. Every restore can be undone. It's not a tiler, so it runs fine next to Rectangle or Moom.
