This update brings full support for iOS 27. Along with many refinements, MeterStats now integrates more deeply into Siri, Spotlight and Shortcuts, making it easier to work with Siri AI. Additionally, meters can now be marked as a replacement for another meter to have a continuous consumption chart if you get a new meter. The latest update introduces automatic reminders to ensure you never forget to add your readings. Based on your preferences, the app will send regular notifications at your preferred time. The update also fully supports iOS 18, including a dark mode icon and the stylish new tinted app icon. Additionally, you can now add new readings or events directly from the Control Center and Lock Screen using the new Control buttons. What’s new? • Automatic Reminders: Never miss a reading with the new automatic reminders. MeterStats can remind you daily, weekly, monthly, twice a month, or yearly. • iOS 18 App Icons: Full support for iOS 18’s dark mode and a new tinted app icon. • iOS 18 Controls: Quickly add readings or events with the seamless integration of the new Control Center and Lock Screen control buttons. • Haptic Feedback: Enjoy satisfying haptic feedback on key interactions, like selecting values in charts. • Enhanced Data Management: Easily move meters or events to different locations by long pressing them in the list. • Design Touchups: Experience a cleaner, more polished look throughout the app with subtle design improvements. • Under the Hood: Modernized codebase to ensure better performance and future-proofing. • New option to show the last 365 days (instead of the whole year) for the Insights charts. This is now the new default. If you want to show the full year – January to December – tap the settings icon in the top right next to the heading in the Insights tab to change. A range of improvements and fixes for charts: • Removed chart labels from Insights and Event charts to make comparing between meters less confusing. These charts are designed to provide a rough idea of the change over time and allow for comparison, even with different units. • Greatly improved overall handling for all charts when there is insufficient data available (within the timeframe). • The first-ever reading of a meter won’t show up in the average per day charts (Insights, Events, and Meters) as it always has a value of 0. • Fixed the issue where “Latest Readings” would display infinity with only two readings.
