You believe that eating less meat might be good for you, animals and our home planet. But when you begin to reduce meat consumption, it’s hard to measure your effort and balance your diet. I know, I’ve been there. No Meat Today makes tracking your meatless meals in a fun & simple way, whether you want to progressively adopt a vegan diet or find a flexitarian balance that suits you. You will become the god of a universe with two planets: punch them to answer Naomi’s daily question “Did you eat meat today?” Next time you want to indulge in a burger, you can look at your logs and decide if you can allow yourself a tender steak. I call that “asking my cow”, and it has helped me decide more than once. Your universe hosts a single species: Daisy cows. They are named like that because they are attracted by one DAY of meatless meals. The most friendly of them is your personal cowch, Naomi, as in Naomi’t Today, and she will accompany you on your journey to eat less meat. Your green and peaceful “No” planet is naturally appealing to them, but you got to earn their trust by logging meatless meals. Daisy cows are a wonderful species: they have the ability to fusion and evolve into higher forms of cows that you will discover along your journey. • Log your meatless meals: just hit the "No" planet if you didn't have any meat, or the "Yes" planet if you did • Gaze on your planet as it starts to attract cows, which happens each time you have one day worth of meals. Beware of scaring them! • Fusion cows as your planet gets crowded and unlock more cows combos as you log more meals • Have fun with the silly comments accompanying the habitual daily question: “Did you eat meat today?” • Use your history to decide if your next meal should include meat or not • Never forget to log your meals: ask for an evening reminder. If you don’t like notifications, just put the app on your home screen! I did both • Still managed to forget a day? No worries, you can complete it later. Plus it’s a good memory exercise. • Adjust the cows’ tolerance to your meaty meals by adjusting your target diet, from omnivorous to vegan ——— # Your privacy matters to me # Not only do you own your data and get export it in an open (JSON) format, but this app respects your privacy to the extreme. Cow care - Update Celebration is on 14 October 2026: attract a cow that day and it arrives cast in Bronze New - Scan your meals. A camera moon orbits in on Today: photograph your plate or import photos, and Apple Intelligence suggests what it sees. Nothing is logged until you confirm with the usual YES/NO tap - Recognized foods arrive as chips you can remove — then the plate's CO₂e drifts up the screen as clouds - Gentle waves move across your photo while it is analyzed, then give way to its CO₂e clouds when the result is ready - Guess before Naomi does, and wager a moon on how many clouds the plate makes - Say what the camera can't see: tap the microphone and describe your plate out loud. Your words appear live under the viewfinder and travel with the photo, so the estimate knows what it could not see - Memories. A new tab keeps one card per day for the plates you photographed. Filter them, give one a heart, five stars or a bookmark, and bring a bookmarked memory into any meal - Your year on one page. History turns a calendar year into a poster, ready to share. Switch it to CO₂, Water or Land and it drops the calendar for things you can picture: kilometres by car, showers, football pitches - Four more things you can give up. Shellfish, molluscs, insects and honey join the diet picker — the app already understood them, it just never asked - Your own food groups now appear in the diet picker too: choose which ones count as meat for you - Cloud jar. Choose how many clouds your day holds before it turns red: Settings › Diet Goals › Cloud jar, or Edit on the scan's meter. It starts at six, so nothing changes until you move it - Where the numbers come from. The impact page cites its sources: Poore & Nemecek 2018 via Our World in Data, the EWG Meat Eater's Guide for lamb and pork, Mekonnen & Hoekstra for water, the FAO for average diets — and says which rows are our own estimates. There is a new Sources page, and every scan ends with "How scanning works" Improvement - The app turns sideways. Today, History, the year poster and the scan each get a layout built for landscape instead of a squeezed portrait one — on iPhone as well as iPad - Answer and a little moon lifts off the planet you touched and flies into the day's bubble - The meal editor grows out of Naomi's speech bubble and folds back into it - Settings moved to Today's top-right corner: one tab less, and more room for what you came for - Rather not see the camera moon on Today? Hide it in Settings › Planets & Moons - Photos you keep are saved to your photo library like any other shot — switch it off in Settings › Meal Bug Hunt - Two holidays never share a day again: the second one steps to the next free day - History's rings no longer blink when your data refreshes Accessibility - VoiceOver announces each meal you log or remove, the guess game's verdict and what dictation recognized Foundations - Scanning runs on Apple Intelligence with Private Cloud Compute: your photos are never stored, never used to train anything, and Apple cannot read them. It needs iOS 27, a device with Apple Intelligence and a connection — and it has a daily allowance, which iCloud+ can raise If you enjoy the app, a rating or review means a lot. Thank you!
