Last update:
- WebDAV and Immich albums now have a Refresh option in the album's ⋯ menu: the app rescans your server, adds new photos and subfolders, removes deleted ones, and updates saved slideshows — no more deleting and re-adding the connection (thanks Mike for the suggestion!). - New "Favorites Only" setting (Settings, under Photo Library): point the frame at any album and it will show only the photos you've marked as favorites in the Photos app (thanks Karen for the suggestion!). - The albums screen's Sort & Filter now offers the same filters as inside an album: photos, videos, portrait, landscape, favorites, and date ranges. Album counts, browsing, and playback all follow the filter; saving a slideshow still saves the complete album (thanks Karen for the suggestion!). - Exporting a slideshow video now opens with an Export Options screen: choose the shape (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, or Original), the music (your slideshow's music, none, or a song picked just for this video), and whether to show each photo's title, date, and place. Your choices are remembered for next time. - Folders from the Files app and iCloud Drive now stay in sync on their own: added photos appear and deleted ones drop out, on Home and mid-slideshow. Photos not yet downloaded from iCloud are fetched automatically. - With a photo border enabled, the border now slides, zooms, and turns together with the photo during transitions — as if it were part of the print instead of the frame (thanks Dean Wylie for the detailed feedback!). Exported videos keep the previous fixed-frame look for now. - Adaptive Fill now offers the same Light and Dark background fills as the Fit mode, so photos that don't match your screen get a soft blurred backdrop instead of black bars. - Removed the newsletter and App Store rating pop-ups that appeared on their own (thanks Sev for the feedback!). - Filter by Orientation and Smart Pair now work for photos from NAS / WebDAV, Immich, and other web sources, and for saved slideshows whose photos load without a full Photos-library record — the app learns each photo's shape as it is downloaded or first shown (thanks Tim for the report!). A filter that would hide every photo now shows an alert instead of an empty slideshow. - Apple TV now uses its own remote-friendly keyboard for NAS / WebDAV and Immich setup, avoiding the system keyboard crash (thanks Dean Wylie for the detailed video report!). - The "Last Weekend" filter now actually selects Saturday and Sunday; it previously matched Friday and Saturday, so Sunday photos never appeared. - The Content Fit setting's summary now shows "Adaptive Fill" translated in all languages instead of always in English. - Closing a slideshow and reopening it now always starts from the first photo, whether you play an album directly or a saved slideshow. Scheduled slideshows still resume where they left off after an overnight pause. Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@digitalphotoframeapp.com any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel
