The third-party Telegram client for Apple Watch, Pigeon, has been updated with a set of new features.
Subscribers can now expect to see their notifications appear with an image, sticker, or voice message, directly within the notification. This elevates the messaging experience for Apple Watch users, by bringing more convenience than ever before.
Voice messages can now be played at 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x and 2x rates, in app, allowing users to listen to voice messages at a more preferred rate.
The connection status indicator has also been revamped, with a new corner glow mode, which aims to be less distracting, while delivering the same purpose.
Image previews and reactions are now shown within the message, giving users the opportunity to read and view content, in a more direct way.
Web Link Previews are also finally supported in Pigeon. Users can now read a brief summary about web links sent by others.
Other than the above features, Pigeon 1.7 also comes with many other features including block quote highlighting, third-party browser support, localisation improvements and more.
Pigeon 1.7 is now available on the Apple Watch App Store, for users on watchOS 8.4 or later. Some features may require watchOS 10.x and above.
