Here comes the long awaited, big feature update for Pigeon! It consists of the following new features: - New Voice Message Player: You can now seek to a different part of the voice recording or change playback speeds, while playing a voice message that you’ve received. Note that you will have to disable the system player in settings. (Requires watchOS 10.x) - Enhanced, rich notifications experience: Received a message with an image, sticker or voice? With this latest update, you will be able to see it directly on your notification, as well as to reply directly. (Requires watchOS 10.x and active subscription) - New Connection Status Indicator: Glows around the Watch’s borders, denoting connection status through color. Green represents connected, yellow represents updating and red represents connecting. (Can be opted out in Settings > General section) - Block quotes are now displayed with a basic background border. - The first image attached to any message is now shown directly inline in the chat environment. - Reactions are now shown directly with every message, reducing the need to visit the secondary menu via long press gesture. - Increased long press gesture duration, to prevent unintended menu displays - Removed message press animation, to improve performance - Localized for Chinese (Traditional) language, as well as localization updates for other languages. - The telegram library (TDLib) has been updated to a newer release in this update. - Third-party browser option: Users can now choose to open links in third party browsers such as Darock Browser. - Option to show unread status indicator with a highlighted look. In this update, we aim to resolve a bug that causes notification profile pictures to not show up properly, even when the particular sender has a profile picture set. This minor release aims to fix and improve certain features. - There is now a connection status bar overlay, which is anchored to the bottom. This overlay appears when you’ve momentarily lost connection with Telegram servers, so that you know Pigeon is trying it’s best to reconnect. The overlay can be disabled, if you wish to. - VoiceOver improvements on folder selection. - Chat list’s last message metadata now respects Dynamic Type sizing. - Fix an issue that may cause web pages to load twice, on top of each other. - Fix an issue relating to folder management. - Fix a sizing issue for the corner watch face complication. BUGFIXES - a bug that caused the app to crash when loading chats has been solved. - a bug that caused the app to display the chat list's order incorrectly has also been solved. - an issue related to incremental chat list loading has been solved. NEW FEATURES - Pigeon now supports folders! Folders created on your phone will now be shown. - Font sizes for the display of each message can now be changed! - The default font size for message display has been enlarged. If you wish to use the previous font size, you may go to Settings, and set the text size to 11 and date size to 8. - Logout button is now moved into Settings, following feedback of accidental taps, distraction.
