Shared makes it easier to share music and podcast links across services. Just share a link from one of the supported services that can be opened in another one through Shared. Shared supports 11 music services and 5 podcast services. Shared can also identify songs playing around you—even if it’s from another app on your device. If you leave Shared, you can monitor its progress in a Live Activity. Once found, you’ll have the song in Shared. Once a song is in Shared, you can open it in your preferred service, schedule a notification to remind yourself to listen to it, explore lyrics with annotations on Genius, or read reviews on Musicboard. With Shared+, you can also search for music and podcasts that aren’t in your history and open the results in Shared. When browsing with Safari, the Shared Safari Extension can automatically open links from supported services in Shared, streamlining your experience. Shared’s deep integration with iOS means you can: • use Spotlight to search your history and for Quick Actions, • use Siri, a Control, or the Shortcuts app for Quick Actions, and • see the Shared links to music and podcasts you’ve been sent in Messages right inside Shared. Shared also syncs your history with iCloud, so it will be shared across your devices. If you enjoy using Shared and are looking for more features, subscribe to Shared+.
