Plantry 8.4 brings hands-free cooking, recipes from TikTok and Instagram, a fully German app, a new look for iOS 27, and a much smaller download. • Hands-free mode: Plantry reads each step aloud and takes voice commands or a wave of your hand, so you can cook with messy hands — in English, Swedish and German • Save recipes from TikTok and Instagram: share a video and Plantry writes out the ingredients and steps, even when the cook only says them out loud, then plays the clip where the photo would be • Plantry in German, recipe catalogue and grocery library included, with a language switch in Settings that leaves your phone's own alone • Photograph several leftovers in one pass, using the volume buttons as a shutter • Add Recipe now shows your other plans, and suggests recipes that go well with what you've already planned • Drag recipes onto the plan you're cooking, reorder meals without entering edit mode, and rename a plan from its preview • Group long recipes under step headings, which now follow you into cooking mode • A redesigned app icon, Siri rebuilt on App Intents, your recipes in Spotlight, and a taller meal plan widget on iOS 27 • A much smaller download, with cookbook artwork and timer themes fetched only when you need them • Numerous design improvements and bug fixes

Plantry 8.3 brings a new Leftovers flow that turns what's in your fridge into a meal plan, illustrated grocery icons throughout, a shopping list that sorts itself into store aisles, Home Screen shopping list widgets, household serving sizes, and printing. • New Leftovers flow: type in what you have at home — or photograph your fridge — and get recipes ranked by how much of it they use • Illustrated grocery icons on the shopping list, recipes, widgets, and printouts • A rebuilt shopping list: store aisles in the order you actually shop, your own items with suggestions that learn what you buy, and a new card layout • New Home Screen and Lock Screen shopping list widgets • Set your household serving size and every recipe scales to match — or set a different number on any recipe • Print a recipe, a whole plan, or your shopping list • New Create menu behind the "+" • Numerous design improvements and bug fixes
