It’s a foundation on which we’ll expand the app by bringing a lot of new ideas. We hope that the app will be useful during your hikes and that you’ll spend some good time with it.

Rheaparks now features 3D Maps! • Enjoy 3D maps throughouht the app - for free • Simply tap the new "3D" button and drag the map from the bottom with two fingers to see the world in a new way • 3D maps are quite beautiful. But they are also handy to get a better grasp of the elevation, and thus to have a better understanding of the terrain. • We also reworked the maps in general and improved their stability. Thank you!
New : book stays! Rheaparks is there to help you organize your vacations. Where are we going? Where are the most beautiful hikes in the area? … But by the way, where are we sleeping!? The latest update answers this question. Discover a third tab "Stays" on the parks and natural reserve pages. You’ll find beds and breakfast, guest houses and apartments near the trails. • Set your departure and arrival date and get and a quote for the whole stay. • You may also fill in the number of adults and children, you’ll then only see properties that can host all of you! • By default you’ll see the best available properties, but you can also sort them by ascending and descending price. By booking a stay with the app, we receive a commission that helps us run the service. Thank you for using Rheaparks!

In this update: two new tools to help you find your next hike: FILTER and SORT! FILTER • Select exactly the hikes that match your preferences with the new "Filter" button when viewing a Park. • Take advantage of a vast array of filters such as: difficulty, rank, favorites, whether dogs are allowed or not, distance, duration, elevation… • Once all the filters are selected, the list of hikes will only feature hikes matching your filters! A few examples of useful filters : - An easy hike, but noteworthy! - A hike where I can bring my dog - A hike with less than 100m of elevation and that lasts no more than 3 hours SORT • In addition to filters, you can now choose in which order hikes are displayed! • All you have to do is to tap the "Sort" button when viewing a Park. • You can then order the hikes by: rank, difficulty, elevation, duration, distance and even alphabetically! • All of it in increasing and decreasing order. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS Fixed a few minor issues. By using one of these features or by combining them, it becomes very easy to find the perfect hike for you and your friends. Have a nice walk!
New: you can now mark hikes as your favorite! FAVORITES • Every hike can easily be added as favorite with the "heart" button. • Find your favorites in the "Profile" section. • Your favorites are backed-up on the cloud and synced with all your devices. ACCOUNT • Having an account is necessary to access favorites. • Creating a Rheaparks account is very easy. With only two taps you can create your account with "Sign in with Apple". • You can easily delete your account right from the app if you want to. OVERALL IMPROVEMENTS • iOS 16 and watchOS 9 support • Other minor improvements
Added support for universal links. Now when you share or receive a link to Rheaparks, it will send you directly to the app!
Minor fixes and improvements
Rheaparks is available in offline mode for free! This is important to easily find your way under any circumstance and to be serene while walking on the trail. We’ve just been in the Pyrenees for a week and let me tell you, not all hikes there have cellular network coverage! In this update we therefore decided to improve the offline-mode experience. New in this version: • New profile section with a history of the recently viewed hikes • Each time you view a hike in the app, it is added to the history found in the profile section. Not only it’s easier to find hikes you’ve previously encountered in other sections of the app, but they are saved on your device and ready to be viewed offline! • Improved offline mode on the Apple Watch • The Apple Watch app is now better at retrieving previously fetched hikes, even when the network connection comes to miss.
