Automation! This update leverages iOS 27 to tigger a focus automatically based on your calendar events. For this to work, we introduce a new shortcut that replaces the two existing ones. Also, you can now add suggested rituals, create them based on phrases from your event titles, and set the follow-up focus directly in the app. We also fixed a bug where suggested rituals without associated events were not removed and a spelling mistake in one of the notifications. Enjoy!
This update fixes a bug where the changed times of events from the calendar weren't displayed correctly.
This update fixes a bug where rituals from calendars that you haven't ignored weren't displayed.
This update improves navigation in the app! Calendars are now displayed in a separate tab and can be muted without being ignored. This means that their muted events will still be displayed in the events tab. Additionally, we have introduced Rituals! Rituals determine the settings for events that take place in a specific calendar, with a specific title and a specific location, without being part of a series. Rituals are automatically suggested for matching events. You can also create rituals manually. For all users on macOS, we now provide a menu bar entry to comfortably access the next event from there. If the menu bar entry is activated, you can also remove the app icon from the Dock and hide its windows. Enjoy this update!

This update introduces a companion app for Apple Watch and adds location-based notifications! By default, events that are associated with a location in Apple Calendar are notified when you arrive there. Tapping the notification activates the configured focus mode until you leave the event's location. If configured, a notification for the follow-up notification arrives as you leave the event's location. Note: activating a focus from Apple Watch cannot be supported, since programmatically running shortcuts on Apple Watch is not supported.
This update fixes some bugs: • Focii in the settings are now correctly created during app installation • The focus "Reduce interruptions" is only shown on systems that support Apple Intelligence • A spelling mistake has been fixed in the settings
Mind the Focus now supports the Reduce Interruptions focus. This update also improves the app and fixes some bugs: • Notifications would sometimes use incorrect localization • Remove the support link to Twitter/X, please refer to email support instead • Ignored calendars no longer appear for configuration in focus filters
Mind the Focus now supports focus filters and allows you to choose the focus for individual events. This update also improves the app and fixes some bugs: • The list of events is now divided into past, current and future events to improve clarity • Notifications for declined events are no longer delivered • Lead-up notifications are no longer sent multiple times • Notifications for recurring events are no longer continuously re-delivered when changes are made to the calendar • Follow-up notifications are now correctly removed from Notification Center • Newly added calendars are no longer muted on macOS, as this feature does not currently work reliably there
Mind the Focus is now available on macOS and iPadOS, so you can use the app on all your devices! Settings and data are automatically synchronized between your devices on all platforms. Additionally, this update improves the app and fixes some bugs: • Adding shortcuts in the onboarding process can now be skipped • The order of the buttons for adding the shortcuts in the onboarding process has been switched • The label for lead-up notifications in an event's settings is now displayed correctly • Notifications for changed or removed events are now deleted • Duplicate notifications that sometimes appeared shortly before events have been fixed • A missing icon for an explanation in the settings has been added

This update fixes two bugs: - The individual notification settings of an event are now correctly overwritten if it is part of a series of events - The universal clipboard could accidentally overwrite the notification settings that are passed to the corresponding shortcut at the start of an event, which led to incorrectly set focus
With this update, you can now manually disable the focus after the end of events instead of having the focus automatically deactivated by Mind the Focus. Additionally, there is now an option in the settings to disable notifications for events from newly added calendars by default. We have also fixed a small bug where shortcuts were not added correctly through the settings. Enjoy your focus!
You can now access event notification settings faster! Swipe an event left to mute its notifications. Swipe right to enable notifications for an event. If the event is part of a series, you will only change the notification settings for that one event. Aside from that, we fixed a few bugs: • Events recently had to be muted twice before they were truly muted • Lead-up notifications for events are now delivered even after an event has started • Follow-up notifications are now delivered even within the delay that the focus deactivates after an event • Too many notifications were scheduled in the background, so some of them might have been missed
This incremental update fixes a bug introduced in the previous bigger update that caused the list of events to no longer be scrollable in some cases. --- This update improves the user interface for adjusting the notification settings of calendars and events! You now find these settings through the context menu of calendars and events. Besides, the app is now available in German langauge as well! Beyond the new features, this update also addresses a few bugs: • Events are no longer listed if all calendars are ignores • There are no longer attempts to fetch events from the calendar without sufficient permissions • Changing the notifications of a calendar or an event now correctly updates the scheduled notifications

This updated addresses a few bugs: • Fixed text truncation in the dialog displaying individual event details • Resolved an issue where retrieving calendar events while the app is in the background caused a crash failing to schedule notifications • Improved refresh of events upon reopening the app
Following the latest feature-packed update, I addressed a bug that could hinder the delivery of notifications when the app remained unopened between the creation of an event in the calendar and its start date. Moreover, I enhanced the error tracking capabilities to facilitate the detection of such troublesome bugs.
This update includes a bunch of new features: • Mute the follow-up notifications for calendars and of events • Customize the delay with which the focus is deactivated after events • Ignore events that are marked with "free" availability • Display placeholder if there are no events in the calendar or considered by the current settings Enjoy using these features and let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions!
This hotfix for Mind the Focus contains fixes for the following two bugs: • Calendar events were not available after freshly installing the app due to an insufficient permission request • Tapping the app's notifications did not return to the app after opening Shortcuts Thank you for your feedback!
First update after the release! I addressed a few bugs that hid in the first version: • Synchronization with iCloud works properly now, avoiding a reset of the app's settings • You can now trigger actions in the event list by fully swiping to the left • Notifications are no longer delivered twice, resolving an intermittent issue • Accessing the settings via the upper right corner is now possible at all times • Labels of sections in the settings are now visually aligned
