Select multiple tabs from the tabs menu, a long-press on a tab, or with a two-finger pan gesture to copy, duplicate, or close them at once. (Selecting tabs is not available when domain grouping is enabled in grid mode.) Fixed: Printing from buttons in web pages was not supported. (Thanks, Rohan!)

Fixed: Crash when searching in history in some conditions.

When grouping tabs by domain, tapping a group title now closes all tabs from that website. Fixed: • When grouping tabs by domain, a single remaining tab for a website was incorrectly moved to the “Others” group. • When grouping tabs by domain, tabs in the “Others” group were not properly sorted. • Missing animation when selecting a tab and closing all other tabs. • Minor animation glitch after reordering a favorite. • Incorrect German localization.

Fixed: • PDFs could not be saved from the share sheet on protected websites. (Thanks, Loïc!) • When opening the keyboard from a search engine results page, the search bar contained the search page URL instead of the search query in some cases.

When a website opens a new tab, it can now be closed immediately using the back button. Fixed: Closing a blocked tab from the alert banner returned to a sibling tab instead of the parent tab in some cases.

• When an external link is blocked, the app now offers to disable the blocker for that site. (Thanks, Michael and David!) • The “New Private Tab” button can now also be added to the toolbar. Fixed: • Errors were not displayed properly in some cases when opening an external link. • The app did not automatically switch to the new tab when opening an external link if Settings or Reader mode were open. Spring refresh! A more elegant and distinctive look with a new color palette and typeface. Fixed: • Pinching to zoom out could accidentally trigger the pull-to-refresh gesture. • When saving a new favorite from the share sheet, the address field was not editable.

Fixed: • Moving tabs to private mode erased their back/forward history. • The start page’s scroll position was reset after canceling a search. • Some start page icons could briefly display incorrectly when closing the keyboard.

Fixed: • Autocomplete suggestions corrupted the search text in some conditions. • Autocomplete suggestions were not inserted when typing alphabet letters on the Japanese Kana keyboard. • Slide to Type suggestions were inserted incorrectly in some conditions. (Thanks, longely!)

Fixed: • After a tab opened another one, the toolbar stopped displaying the page title, site icon, and read time.

Fixed: Background video playback was interrupted, and tabs unexpectedly reloaded when the device was in light mode with website darkening enabled for dark mode.

• Autocomplete suggestions now better prioritize a site’s homepage over previously visited pages when relevant. • History, opened tabs, and autocomplete suggestions can now be disabled in Settings → Search. • When a website locks scrolling (like The Verge’s paywall), the toolbar automatically appears to prevent getting stuck. • For usability, the blocker no longer hides The Verge’s paywall, while other ads and banners remain blocked. Fixed: • Crash when moving a tab to private after it was opened by another tab. • Display issue on the Quiche PLUS screen when restoring purchases failed.

Quiche Browser now warns about invalid server certificates and offers the option to connect anyway.

• Status bar tinting is now enabled by default on new installs in both light and dark mode. Now that this feature is more reliable and improves the appearance of websites, I encourage everyone to turn it on in Settings → Tabs → Light/Dark Mode. • New websites in the default favorites. • Minor visual improvements and reorganization in Settings. Choose to open universal links in Quiche Browser instead of installed apps in Settings → Universal Links. Fixed: Darkening issues on The Verge.
