This update lets you pick up where you left off. Daft Music saves your queue on every device and brings it back after a relaunch, and you can continue playback from another device at the same second. It also brings sturdier iCloud sync and bug fixes.
This update brings a new playback engine. Skipping, shuffle and repeat now run on Daft Music's own queue. It also includes bug fixes.
This update adds a Recently Played tab to the Mac queue, along with a refreshed queue design and cleaner shuffle and repeat controls. Video sharing has been reworked with a new portrait export and full-bleed redesign, Instagram sharing has been removed, and the AI Checker got a redesign that now caches its results. And if you haven't explored 3.0 yet: AirPlay 2 streaming, a 10-band equalizer, and Instrument Isolation on Mac, powered by our companion app Daft Backstage, plus 3D Cover Artworks and AI Detection on iPhone.

3.0 is here. On Mac: AirPlay 2 streaming, a 10-band equalizer, and Instrument Isolation to mute vocals, drums, bass, and more. On iPhone: 3D Artworks bring real depth to cover art. Everywhere: Spotlight and Siri support, plus a new AI Checker that flags tracks that sound machine-generated.

This update fixes several memory leaks for better stability, and introduces initial support for Siri and Spotlight search. We've also partnered with the NowPlaying team, so you can now open Daft Music directly from their app.
Daft Music now curates. The Mixtape is a collection of hand-picked shows and mixes from real DJs, starting with Berlin's Matas, with more curators to follow. It's music discovery the way it used to work: through people, not algorithms.
Your pinned items have moved to the new Home Screen for quicker access.
Fixed a bug where some playlists wouldn't play correctly.
This update speeds up loading across catalog and library screens, improves how the app restores your place when reopening, handles non-subscribed accounts more gracefully, and includes small copy and layout polish.
Radio joins your library. Save any station you find and it sits alongside your artists, albums and songs, synced across your devices through iCloud. Filter your saved stations by name or country, and pin the ones you keep coming back to.
Faster, smoother library. Songs, albums and artists now scroll on a rebuilt list engine, so large libraries stay responsive while you filter and sort. Redesigned filter menus with a reset option, and a clearer sort order across Library, playlists and search. Search is quicker and supports drag and drop onto playlists and the queue. Album view highlights the track you came from.
Under the Hood Smoother animations throughout the app, tidier track lists and filter bars, and a good round of fixes and performance improvements.
Daft Music now works without an Apple Music subscription, and even without an Apple Music account. Search the entire catalogue, play 30-second previews and listen to radio stations without signing in.
