Fixed an issue where the app closed right after opening it for the first time on a Mac.
In Listen & Type, “Slow” playback is now a little faster, so words no longer sound dragged out.
We tidied up the subscription screen. • The 3-month plan now shows how much you save compared with paying monthly for 3 months. • Fixed the discount badge covering the plan name at very large text sizes.
Pro now has a 3-month plan. • Choose Monthly, 3 months or Yearly on the subscription screen. Before you pay, it shows the price and billing period of the plan you picked. • Fixed Pro subscribers briefly hitting the daily limit right after opening the app. • If there's a problem with your payment, Settings tells you and takes you to Manage Subscription. • Corrected how numbers and units read in several languages (for example, "1 word"), translated a few labels that were left untranslated, and fixed prices breaking across lines at large text sizes.
Choose light or dark mode right in the app, and the Korean keyboard now comes up when you type an answer. • Settings › Appearance lets you pick Device Setting, Light or Dark. • Fill in the Blank, Type the Word and Listen & Type now open the Korean keyboard automatically. If your device has no Korean keyboard, the app tells you why and holds back typing questions until you add one. • Right after you subscribe to Pro, you see that it's active and pick up right where you left off. • On the free plan, homework, today's goal and the exam prep plan now follow the daily limit. • Fixed layouts that broke with long translations, tidied the subscription screen on small phones and VoiceOver's selection announcements, and fixed a crash when setting up homework on a Mac.
Check the exam calendar inside the app and prepare for the sitting you picked. • Settings › Exam Schedule shows application periods and exam dates for the pre-test, midterm and final evaluations. • Pick the sitting you plan to take and the home screen tells you how many days are left to apply and how much to study each day. • You get a reminder as the application deadline approaches, and again on the morning of the exam. • Fixed a freeze on the history screen for users with lots of records, and polished large text, color contrast and button sizes.
When you finish one side for today, we now tell you what is still open. • Done with vocabulary? Jump straight to the questions you have left — and the other way around. • Only when both are done do we show you when you can practice again. • Your study streak now shows up there too.
No more repeating questions you have already answered. • Questions you have not seen yet come first. Once you have seen them all, the ones you got wrong come back before the rest. • The app now detects when your study record cannot be saved, tells you, and repairs it when it can. • Fixed a case where a session could start before you finished the intro on first launch. • Fixed parts of the screen that stayed untranslated in some languages.
Clearer support information. • "App Support" on the App Store now opens our support page directly. • The support page and the terms of use now list both an email address and a phone number.
Fixed an issue where some words showed their part of speech in English instead of your language. Also includes internal improvements.
Tighter handling of your data. • Error reports no longer include the words you were studying. • To improve the app, we now collect usage statistics about which features get used. This data does not identify you personally, and it does not include the questions you answered or the answers you typed.
A lighter app launch. • Trimmed the setup work done at startup, so the app is ready sooner. • Reduced the load on the very first run.
The app opens faster. • Fixed the brief freeze that could happen while the app was starting up. • Improved stability on the opening screen.
You can now look back at the questions you've answered. • Recent questions appear at the bottom of the Questions and Words tabs, and the full list lets you revisit earlier rounds. • Questions whose translations aren't ready yet no longer come up. • Manage your subscription right from Settings.
When a new version is available, you'll now see it right on the Home screen and in Settings — so you never miss an update.
This update adds exam mode. Work through questions written to match the format of the placement test, the mid-term and the comprehensive exam, level by level — with explanations in 16 languages telling you why your answer was wrong. • Weak areas by topic — accuracy per subject shows which ones you keep getting wrong • Homework — set the activity, the amount, the days and the time, and you'll only hear from us then • Home bookshelf — see how far you've come in each level at a glance • Report a question that looks wrong, right from the screen you're on Pricing has moved to monthly and yearly subscriptions. If you already bought the 3-month pass, it stays active for the rest of its term.

Fixed an issue where dictation and listening quizzes could mark correct answers wrong when a word has an honorific/casual counterpart with the same meaning (like 나/저 or 먹다/드시다).
Fixed an issue where example sentences and meanings could appear cut off on the answer feedback screen. They now display in full.
We've polished the app's look for a cleaner, more consistent experience and improved overall stability.
Now you can hear words and example sentences in a native speaker's voice. We've also added a new picture question — choose the Korean word that matches the image — and you can share any question with a friend to solve together.
Stuck on a question? You can now reveal step-by-step hints — first the opening letter, then the pronunciation or meaning. Every practice question also shows its level, so you always know where you stand.
Fill-in-the-blank practice is now more accurate. We refined how answers are matched and cleaned up questions that could have more than one correct answer, so your study is fairer and more reliable.
