- Pass your circle on: Make another member the owner (they accept when they're ready), or leave and let the circle live on with the next member. If a circle is deleted, everyone keeps their posts. - Remove members, and keep them out: Circle owners can remove someone and choose "Don't let them rejoin", with an Unban list if you change your mind. - Password reset that actually resets: The link in the reset email now opens a "set a new password" step. Before, it only signed you in and never changed the password. - A cleaner Friends tab: Every circle now shows its description up front, with Share and Join right on the photo. Circles with wide photos no longer push cards off the edges of the screen.
Write in your own handwriting: Trace each letter with your finger once and Gleegleam turns it into your own personal font, built right on your phone. Every Daynote you write in it looks handwritten, to you and to everyone who reads it. Pick your paper and your pen: Choose a paper texture and a font pairing for each Daynote. Your pick stays with that entry wherever it's read: your journal, your circles, and Explore. New "Join Circles" tab: find your people: Browse public circles by topic, read what each one is about, and join in one tap. You can also start your own public circle with a photo, tags, and a description. Easily sharable circle Invitation: Turn any public circle into a notebook-style card sized for Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories, or a post, or just copy the link. Invite links now open a preview of the circle before you join. A fresh new look: New headings, a soft aurora glow on Explore and Friends, and redesigned pop-up sheets that all work the same simple way.
-Smarter filtering: browsing a specific category on Explore ("Vent," "Work," etc.) no longer repeats that category on every card — you already know what you're looking at. Switch back to "All" and the tags return, since cards there mix categories. - Redesigned Category & Posting-to pickers: writing or editing a Daynote now shows two clean side-by-side pills — Category and Posting to — each with a small label above it, a rounded pill below, and the current selection with its own icon (a lock for Private, a globe for Public, your circle's own avatar for a Circle). Tap either to open a matching picker sheet. - Faster category picker: the category sheet now shows every option as a compact pill that flows left-to-right and wraps only when it runs out of room — instead of one tall list — so picking a category takes less scrolling.
Fixed: Switching from the Circles list to the calendar grid could flicker — appearing and disappearing a couple of times before settling — and in some cases the grid would stay invisible even after it had finished loading. It now reveals once, cleanly, and can't get stuck hidden. Smarter after you post: Share a public entry under a category (Relationship, Vent, Work, Overthought, One-liner, Challenge, Unsent Letters...) and Explore now brings you right back to that same category — your new entry front and center, not buried in an unfiltered feed you have to re-filter yourself. Clearer posting path: Writing a new entry now shows exactly who'll see it, right above the Post button — "Private (only you can see this)," "Public (Visible to everyone in Explore)," or the Circle you picked — instead of a one-time tip you could easily miss or dismiss too soon.
[New] - Stickers now stack! If more than one person places the same sticker on a post, it groups into a single tile with a little count badge — instead of quietly using up one of the post's 6 sticker slots per placement. The limit is now 6 *different* stickers per post, not 6 total placements. - First time you're posting, a quick spotlight now walks you through the "Post to" section — a friendly heads-up that journals are private by default and can be shared anonymously with specific circles. [Fixed] - Entries you posted with just a photo (no caption) can now be edited to actually add one! Previously, if you shared a photo without writing anything, going back in to add your thoughts later left you with nowhere to type — the whole text box just wasn't there. Your words have a home now, whenever inspiration strikes.
- Available on more iPhones and iPads Gleegleam now supports iOS 18 and later. Previously the app required the very latest iOS. If you haven't been able to find or download Gleegleam before, this should fix it, and it opens the app up to a lot more devices, including some older iPhones.
- Comments just got better — replies now show up reliably, and you'll get notified the moment someone responds, in circles and public posts alike. - Notifications take you straight there — tap one and land right on the comment, no more hunting around for it. - See a preview in your notifications — a peek of what was actually said, right there in the list. - More control over your photos — granted limited photo access? You can now add more photos without leaving the app. - Smarter photo picker — the photo you just added now shows up front and center, exactly where you'd expect it.
