Some “quick voice notes” deserve a table of contents. Mono turns long voice messages into clear summaries, readable transcripts, and chapters you can jump between. Catch up on a friend’s news, figure out the weekend plans, or work through feedback without starting from the beginning. Again. • Get the gist. Read a short summary and key takeaways when you need to catch up quickly. • Find that one bit. Jump straight to the dinner plans, the big announcement, or whatever came after “oh, one more thing.” • Read when you can’t listen. Browse the transcript on a crowded train or follow the words as the audio plays. Turn on Interactive transcript in Settings to choose from three styles and three highlight color palettes. • Remember what needs a reply. Mono highlights questions, action items, and calendar events in the interactive transcript. Tap a highlight to write and share a reply, or tap other text to listen from that point. • Keep track of the little things. Check off to-dos and revisit saved memos, notes, and replies. Search your library by title or summary, or filter by speaker. • Listen your way. Adjust playback speed, skip between chapters, and keep listening with your screen locked. Your friend’s voice memo, with podcast controls. • Keep voices familiar. Give recordings a speaker name, a consistent color, and an optional contact photo. Find their memos, edit their details, or merge duplicate speakers in Settings. • Read in your language. Translate transcripts, summaries, questions, action items, and calendar details together on your device. Choose automatic translation for memos in another language, and switch back to the original anytime. • Keep reading while you reply. Open the Picture in Picture reader to see highlighted questions first, then page through every chapter while using another app. • Choose what matters. Set the information Mono extracts and your preferred summary length. Add a custom request with Mono Plus, and jump from extra findings to the source audio. Share a voice message from WhatsApp, Signal, iMessage or another app, or import an audio file from Files. Mono takes it from there. Mono Plus gives you cloud transcription and summaries without setting up an API key. Choose a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Pick Fast transcript or Best transcript for online processing. You can also use free Apple on-device processing on supported devices, or connect your own OpenAI API key. Apple processing requires iOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence, and a supported language. OpenAI usage charges apply when using your own key. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Meet Mono on iPhone Duo: read your transcript and summary side by side, with layouts that adapt as you fold or rotate. Choose from five reading styles. The memo menu now lets you copy the full transcript or all questions at once, with a blank line between questions so you can answer them anywhere.
