Finding things in a big library just got a lot easier. - Filter your library. Narrow it to a folder, a pin color, or any mix of collections from the new Filter button, and see how many places match as you go. - Edit places in bulk. With a filter active, move everything that matches into a folder, give them a pin color, or add them to collections in one go. - Name your pin colors. Call Red "Parking" and Teal "Water". The name you choose follows the color everywhere — the filters, the place editor, the Collections tab — and syncs to your other devices. - List, grid or map, everywhere. Every folder, collection and pin color now offers the Library's List, Grid and Map views, each with its own sort order. - Satellite maps. Switch between Standard and Satellite from the toolbar whenever you're looking at a map. Same promise as always: save it now, find it when you need it. Questions or ideas? rego@peerassembly.com
Improved Map performance! Pins group into bubbles when a view holds hundreds of places, so the map stays quick with thousands of places. Tap a group to zoom in on its members. Support for both Miles and Kilometers for distance measurements.
Rego 3 is the biggest update in the app's history — a ground-up rewrite of an app people have trusted with their places for over a decade. - Private iCloud sync. Your whole library — places, notes, photos, tracks and collections — on every device, automatically. Stored in your iCloud, not on our servers. - Save from the share sheet. Send places straight from Apple Maps or Google Maps — Rego even untangles Google's opaque short links. - Made for iPad. A true iPad app with a Photos-style sidebar that puts folders, collections and pin colors one tap away. - Import from other map apps. KML, KMZ and GPX — Google My Maps, Google Takeout, Google Earth and the wider GPS ecosystem. - Grid view and map thumbnails. Browse your library visually — and places without a photo get a clean generated map thumbnail instead of a gray box. - Exports that round-trip. A genuinely lossless native format for backup and transfer, plus KMZ, KML and GPX. - Your Rego 2 library comes along. Upgrading migrates your existing library automatically — and old Dropbox backups can be restored right from the Files app. Same promise as always: save it now, find it when you need it.
