WELCOME TO SCHOOL ASSISTANT 5.0! This update is HUGE with tons of new features!! - Siri AI, Spotlight, and Shortcuts support! School Assistant integrates with the all-new Siri AI on supported devices! You can ask Siri about your Schoolwork and Classes, ask Siri to create new assignments for you, and ask Siri to modify Schoolwork. You can also now use Shortcuts to get, create, update, and open your Schoolwork and Classes. - Smart Create! Using the power of Apple Intelligence, you can quickly and easily generate Schoolwork and Classes. Just paste or type in the information you want to add, and it will format it into a new Schoolwork or Class. - At long last, the Schedule backend has been completely rewritten! This brings a lot of new things: - Schedule is finally linked with Classes! - Automatic sorting by start time - Schedule day names are more reliable, you can reorder your days, day duplication is better, and you can now easily delete a day - Schedule will now show the breaks between your classes! - Support for showing Location AND Link, or neither - Tapping an entry will now show Class Details for the linked class. Tap and hold on the entry to edit its details. - Calendar integration! Now, your Schoolwork can show right up on your Apple calendar! Over the years many have asked for a calendar view, and I think this is a far better solution than trying to create some custom calendar view. - Class colors! This is by far one of my most requested features. Head to Settings → Class Color Styles to decide how they show in the app! - New “Index Card” design for Schoolwork, Schedule, and Classes! This refreshed design shows more information in less space, while highlighting the most important information. - Schoolwork enhancements! - Filter by class and/or category! - Duplicate an existing Schoolwork! And, when creating a new Schoolwork, you have the option to Save and Duplicate. - Due dates can now be shown as a countdown. - Due date countdowns will now count up when past due. - Schoolwork Categories! Instead of being limited to just Assignment or Test, you can now choose from a list of presets or create your own categories. Each category also supports choosing a dedicated icon! You can also now filter by category. - Classes can now be archived! When you’re done with a class, you can now save it in your archive, or archive all classes at once. - Deep Link support! You can copy a link for any Schoolwork, Class, or Schedule Day / Entry. When opening this link in Safari or elsewhere, you will be taken right to that item!
