Every build, in plain English. 2026.8 adds summaries written on your device by Apple Intelligence. Open an app, a workflow, a run or a single step and read what happened before you go digging. WHAT HAPPENED, AND WHAT'S WORTH KNOWING Every summary comes in two parts: what happened, then the findings worth your attention. Which step failed. Whether it was errors, warnings or failing tests. How a workflow has been going lately — how many runs passed, how many failed, how many branches they came from. It doesn't guess. It restates what your build data actually says, and where something isn't known it says so plainly. The numbers, dates, commits and file paths stay in the cards beside it, unchanged. WRITTEN ON YOUR DEVICE, AND NOWHERE ELSE Summaries are generated on device with Apple Intelligence. Your build data is never sent anywhere to be summarised — not to us, not to anyone else. Each summary says underneath it how it was written. Needs an iPhone, iPad or Apple Vision Pro with Apple Intelligence turned on, and MobileBuilds+. A BIGGER WIDGET FOR IPAD Recent Runs now comes in extra large, showing your builds in two columns, up to twelve runs at once. On iPadOS 27 there's an extra large portrait size as well. SPOTLIGHT NOW FOLLOWS YOUR LOCK Turn on Require Face ID and nothing about your apps, workflows or builds is written to Spotlight — and switching it on clears anything already indexed.
A smaller release: two things that were quietly annoying, now fixed. WORKFLOW EDITING KNOWS WHAT RUNS WHERE Test actions now let you pick the macOS version they run on. Better still, Mobile Builds only offers test destinations that actually work with the platform you chose — so you no longer save a workflow and find out later that Xcode Cloud disagreed with it. DEEP LINKS LAND WHERE YOU ASKED Tap a build in the widget, ask Siri to open a run, or pick a workflow out of Spotlight, and you go straight to that screen. No flicker through the wrong view on the way, and no blank screen while it catches up. Statuses refresh as you look at them. BUILD YOUR OWN AUTOMATIONS Twelve actions in Shortcuts, with real pickers for your apps, workflows and runs. Start a build on any branch. Re-run a specific run. Get the status of a workflow. Find every run where the status is Failed, or the branch contains "release", sorted however you like. Wire it into anything. A morning digest of last night's builds. A Home Screen button that ships your release branch. A shortcut that checks the build before you head out. Until now you could watch your workflows. Now you can build them. Need a new workflow? Create one from scratch, right on your device — no browser required. Already got one that needs a tweak? Edit it in place, change what you need, and you're done. And because you probably bounce between iPhone, iPad, and Mac, your login now syncs across all of them. Sign in once, and you're set everywhere.
Favorites are here. Got apps and workflows you check constantly? Favorite them, and they'll stay pinned to the top so you're not hunting for them every time. There's a new Recent Runs widget — drop it on your Home Screen and see your latest runs and their status without even opening the app. As always, thanks for the feedback and feature requests — keep them coming.
