Before, sending an invite to a friend sometimes started the match with random cards instead of your chosen deck. • Taunt can no longer target the enemy queen — it was too punishing as a one-card swing. Version 1.3.1 Online + tournaments polish • Online clock sync, both players' clocks now stay in sync on every move, and timeouts propagate cleanly so you never see "I won" while your opponent keeps playing. • Tournaments, brackets always populate with real rivals and real avatars, push notifications when your opponent is ready to play, instant reward claim the moment you're eliminated, wider play windows so you don't miss your match slot. • Smarter AI card usage, no more wasted Double Step or Swap Allies, no random Shield / Fortify on unthreatened pieces, recovery from search fallback so the AI never gets "stuck thinking". • Emergency Step, pass-through-check moves now work, the game no longer calls mate while the card can still save you, and a red prompt + card halo appear when you should use it. • "No Music" toggle now silences gameplay music too (sound effects still play). • Fixed the "No Way Back" tutorial where mate wasn't being detected after the knight move. • Dozens of smaller fixes: banner saves across devices, friend-online dots in Social, friend request / game invite / tournament pushes that were silently failing, softer "opponent can't play right now" copy on declined invites.
