Loop 3.1.1 This update brings improvements to make your Loop experience even more consistent: Pinning or unpinning a podcast now updates the podcast cover menu so you can add it back to your pinned list. When resuming an episode, it now returns to the top of the "Continue Listening" section, making it easier to find. Updated the Loop icon in the Apple Watch settings screen, which was previously the beta version icon. Live download activities now clearly show when an episode finishes or fails to download. Design improvements were also made. Fixed the current progress behavior for episodes you've started listening to: each episode now correctly shows its current progress even when switching between different episodes, along with a progress bar on episodes that have already been started. Loop 3.1 is here with news to make your podcast listening experience even better: What's New Siri and Shortcuts support, making Loop even more integrated and accessible. Loop and Siri now work together to improve your experience listening to your favorite podcasts! Head Gestures: move your head with connected AirPods, or a compatible device, to skip episode chapters even while the app is in the background. Go to Customization in settings to adjust the movement sensitivity level and the sound effect volume when a gesture is recognized. Loop Personalities: in settings, under About Me, you can now set the personalities Loop will use when generating the text for the For You section. Listening Metrics and Statistics: 3 rings to help you track your daily and monthly listening goals, tracking how many episodes were finished in the month, daily listening time, and variety of podcasts listened to. More metrics are available in Listening Statistics in settings. New widgets: you can now see the For You section text on the Home Screen in two widget sizes (small and medium), as well as your listening metrics rings on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. What to listen to next: a section where new episodes from the podcasts you've marked as favorites and pinned are shown for easy access. Reorganize the podcasts in your collections by dragging and dropping them however you like. Reorder the Home sections however you prefer in Customization in Loop's settings. Improvements In Favorites, you can now filter to see only podcasts with unplayed episodes and podcasts with new episodes available. Tap and hold a podcast in Favorites to automatically add all unplayed episodes to the playback queue. A new indicator shows when your AirPods, or another device, are connected on the playback screen (tap it to access AirPlay control). Improvements to the downloaded episodes experience, with an indicator in the Continue Listening section for when an episode is downloaded. Double-tap the Search tab to open the keyboard and search faster. Redesigned chapter list for compatible episodes. General improvements to translations throughout Loop. Better performance while the app is in the background, using much less processing power and battery! Fixes The Loop icon now appears correctly in Apple Watch complications. Hi! In this version, we’ve added new episode notifications that adapt to your usage, a search field in the podcast episode list, and a pull-to-refresh gesture on the Home tab to update the new episode counts for your favorite podcasts. We also added a quick-return button in case you skip forward or backward too much on the main player screen, along with a smoother animation on the Discovery tab. The update also resolves a progress synchronization issue in the iPhone Control Center and ensures that audio pauses when entering the Discovery screen. Additionally, podcast importing has been improved, and the white border at the top of shared images has been removed. Hello! This version fixes minor bugs related to accessibility labels on some buttons that caused Loop to crash and close immediately when used. Additionally, it updates the beta version icon to the Loop standard in settings and adds translations for some texts that had been missed.
