Minor improvements and more camera control. Expanded Camera Options: We’ve upgraded the camera switcher: instead of just a simple front/back toggle, you can now select your exact camera source. Plus, we added a brand new front camera mirroring mode. Minor improvements and bug fixes: Fullscreen Editor Fix: Addressed an annoying glitch where the heading and caption editor wouldn't open while in fullscreen view. Smoother Store Experience: We polished the post-purchase flow so the screen no longer dismisses prematurely. Behind the Scenes: Fixed various bugs to keep the app running happily and reliably.
Minor improvements Mood Lighting: Fixed a bug where the default fallback background was a harsh pitch black instead of our soothing signature dark navy. Speed Demon: We squeezed even more performance out of the export engine. Blink and you might miss it.
Lappaa Just Got Video! You asked for more visual control, and we’re delivering our biggest media update yet. Record & Import Video: You can now record video directly inside the app! Have an existing video? You can now import full video tracks straight into your canvas (previously, we only extracted the audio). Total Canvas Control: We’ve unlocked the canvas: You’re no longer stuck with perfectly centered images. You can now pinch-to-zoom, scale, and rotate your imported photos and videos exactly how you want them. Minor improvements and bug fixes: Supercharged Exports: We dramatically boosted export speeds and lifted the previous 2-hour export cap all the way up to 30 hours. Smoother Transitions: We polished the transition between the recording and editor views so it feels buttery smooth. Draft Durations: Your Draft Sheet now displays the total recording duration at a glance, rather than just the selected clip length. Smarter Auto-Trim: We tweaked the auto-trimming feature so it's a little less aggressive on your audio tails. Faster Waveforms: Audio wave generation is noticeably faster, complete with better error recovery. Fixed various (boring) bugs
Animated & Iconic Visualisers: Your audio just got a cast of characters! We’ve added brand new animated sprites (including running cats, dancing mice, and more) and iconic shapes that bounce, walk, and react to the beat of your voice. Minor improvements and bug fixes: Perfect Alignment: Stop squinting to see if your text is exactly in the middle. We’ve added quick-align buttons so you can perfectly snap your captions and visualisers to the center, top, or bottom of the screen. Supersized Circles: We raised the roof on circular visualisers. You can now scale them up to more than double their previous maximum size (and we tweaked their core radius so they still look incredibly sharp when supersized). Tidier Vectors: We gave the Vector Square visualiser a haircut to remove some loose strings hanging off the edges, and fixed a bug where it was awkwardly swapping its primary and accent colours. Stubborn Backgrounds: Fixed an annoying bug where old image backgrounds refused to leave the screen when you applied a solid-colour template. They have been officially evicted. Trim Amnesia: Fixed an issue where the app would sometimes forget your carefully adjusted start and end trim times when saving a draft. Your cuts are now locked in. Smarter Splits: We gave our Caption Split tool a vocabulary lesson. It is now much better at handling and breaking up languages with exceptionally long words.
Caption Split: A new tool to help break up long, chunky captions into more readable segments. It uses on-device ML to suggest logical split points, saving you from a lot of manual editing. Minor improvements and bug fixes: Brain Freeze: We gave the transcript editor a major speed boost. It no longer freezes up when you make massive text replacements, and your edits now auto-save instantly if you switch apps—so your hard work never vanishes. Free Range Circles: Fixed a bug where the circular visualizer was afraid to leave the center of the screen after you pinched it. It's now free to roam wherever you place it. Calm Down, Tips: Our helpful search tooltips got a little too excited and started cloning themselves all over your screen. We've politely asked them to speak one at a time. Hide and Seek: The "Replace" buttons in the transcript editor were playing excellent camouflage in Light Mode. We took away their invisibility cloaks so you can actually see what you're clicking. Crisper Captions: We ironed out some weird font artifacts on the "Outline" text style, and told transparent backgrounds to stop awkwardly piling up on top of each other in your final video exports.
Word-by-Word Captions: Want that fast-paced social video look? You can now generate captions that display one word at a time. Change your default in Settings, or use the new Transcription Style options in the Transcript Editor menu to regenerate your current draft.
Minor improvements and bug fixes Rounder Circles: We told the circular visualizers to stop acting like rectangles. They no longer get stuck in invisible boxes and can now roll all the way to the edge of your screen. Total Recall: Fixed a bug where hitting "Undo" made the background photo vanish. Your images now stick around, even if you change your mind. Gravity Check: The "Dots" visualizer stopped hovering in mid-air. We increased the gravity, so it’s no longer heading to Mars—it now stays closer to the Moon.
Minor improvements and bug fixes Lighting: We took the sunglasses off your background photos. They are full brightness (unless you add blur, then we dim them lightly so your text can shine). Orientation: Fixed a bug where some photos were lying down on the job. They now stand upright in your exports.
