Univershuffle 1.2 brings support for iOS 26, including a Liquid Glass design refresh. It also: - Fixes an issue where the song scubber didn't work in iOS 26 - Removes Google Ads - Removes the ability to link a Spotify account. Spotify has changed the terms of conditions of their API and denied Univershuffle's application to use it, so unfortunately this functionality is no longer supported. You will still be able to open music in the Spotify app, but you can no longer add music directly to a Spotify playlist in Univershuffle.
Fixes: - Additional improvements to song fetching logic to cut down on “No Songs Found” errors for users with lots of filters - Fixed an issue where the queue would restart to an earlier position if the app couldn’t find new songs, leading to songs being repeated - Fixed an issue where adding an item to your library might fail - Fixed a couple of issues where authorizing a Spotify account might not set Spotify as the default Open and Add To app
Fixes: - Fixed an issue where the Failed to Find Songs prompt was triggered too easily - Tweaked the phrasing on the filters screen
Features: - CarPlay support! Pretty much everything you can do in the main app, now available in CarPlay. - New filtering options! If you don’t want to hear music from a particular decade or country, you can now filter those alongside genres. This functionality is also available from a new Shortcuts action. - last.fm support! Automatically scrobble your discoveries (not available for 30-second previews) - A new alternate app icon for those of you who don’t like the stars in the background of the icon. I like the stars! But if you don’t… pick the other icon. Both icons support tinting. Fixes: - Find an issue where artwork for 30 second previews might not display in Control Center - Added a new alert message if the app can’t find new songs because there are too many active filters - Fixed an issue where the app could be blank when switching between the App Store and TestFlight versions - Fixed an issue where artwork didn’t show up on the playlist picker screen for Apple Music playlists created in other apps - Fixed an issue where the app might not update if playback was started from the widget or a shortcut
Fixes: - Fixed some edge case crashes
Fixes: - Improved error text when Spotify user login fails - Fixed an issue where Open in Spotify actions would fail if Spotify user login had failed - Improved error text when playback fails - Introduced a simplified song info capsule for accessibility font sizes and other space-constrained configurations. - Fixed an edge case where the app could get confused and play a song it had played before - Fixed a couple different crashes on macOS when adding songs to an Apple Music library or playlist.
Fixes: - The scrubber bar is now more responsive - Fixed an issue where a song could be removed from listening history if you skipped back to it - Fixed an issue where the Premium page could crash if you weren’t connected to the internet - Fixed some edge case crashes
