What started with the same subscription fix as the rest of my apps rapidly grew into two new Shortcuts actions and a handful of sharing fixes.
Tasks can have multiple categories and logging tasks now work like a draft with nothing saved until you're ready to save. I also fixed sharing issues including missing history, delayed updates, and sync crashes.
Fixed a bug where some widgets would fail to load their categories which could cause the widget to stop loading tasks or show 'Task Not Found' when tapped.
A small patch, but a few things worth mentioning. The Next Due widget just kept loading and never showed anything until edited... so now it defaults to showing everything when you add it, and it works right away. While I was in there I also caught the days between entries count being accidentally deletable, so that's static now. Working on a fix for Simply Customize It, I realized the same gap existed here too... if your data can't load, there's now a proper catch with a button to reach out to me directly.
Added a count to see the number of days between entries. One less thing to guess on! And if you don't want to see it simply toggle it off in the task.
Minor fixes. Notice text was cut off on the mac, dismiss buttons should now be one each iOS keyboard sheet, and shared a fix I found recently with Customize It where a subscription on a second device wasn't recognized.
Completed a full accessibility audit across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Also many fixes including: · daily summary toggle which was counting same-day entries incorrectly for streak and metric calculations · several crash risks across the app and widget extension, including force unwrap handling and deprecated API cleanup · widget display issues: pie chart, next due alignment, and extra large sizing on Mac and iPad · a freemium limit bypass where tapping a widget could open the log sheet past the 80-entry cap · minor UI layouts
Fixed an issue where some shared task contributors appeared as "Me" in the entries tab. Now anyone, regardless subscription level, can rename shared people. Plus their last three logs are shown to help identify who's who. In addition incoming task defaults (category, emoji, color) now apply correctly for Together subscribers, "what's next" widget now supports filtering by multiple categories, saved tab loading correctly, color updates, and there's dedicated spot for shared tasks in settings.
The new onboarding shows you what Simply Remember It can actually do for you... before asking you to set anything up. Browse Task Ideas by category, add what fits, or let Walk Me Through It guide you the old way.
2.1.0 is here! Remember things, together. Share tasks with family or household so everyone can log and no one has to wonder. Plus clearer subscription names, participant widgets, and more.
You can now add and organize measurements while creating a new task... not just when editing. Set up temperature tracking, counts, yes/no flags, and other custom measurements right from the start. This update also includes small fixes and improvements to make task creation smoother and more consistent.
A few small fixes to make group logging and charts feel steadier and more predictable.
A small, calmer update. • Clearer wording across the app • Smoother logging and setup • Light visual polish Nothing new to learn... just a quieter experience.
New in 2.0.0 • New home screen widgets for Tasks Due, Streaks, and Charts • Lock screen widget to quietly show what’s due next • Faster logging with Shortcuts, including optional default measurement values • Improved navigation and deep links to support widgets • Small fixes and polish across the app This update focuses on quicker access and gentler check-ins... without adding noise.
Today’s update quietly moves your data to a safer shared location so widgets coming in January can work smoothly. Nothing changes in how you use the app... just be sure to update your other devices to keep everything in sync.
What’s New in 1.0.3: Streaks now match your real habits — weekly, monthly, or even yearly — with a grace window so you don’t lose momentum. • Smarter streaks for non-daily habits • Grace window (±2 by default) to keep streaks alive • Clearer wording for habits, avoidance, and monitoring • Crash fix: internal app icon fully removed
A quiet update to keep things smooth and calm as iOS and macOS evolve. Everything should just work so you can focus on what matters.
Smarter charting and new Yes/No tracking make it easier than ever to spot trends at a glance. • Added Yes/No measurements for quick and simple tracking • Expanded charting options: line, scatter, bar, pie, stacked, and daily columns • Tap any day to instantly view its details • Category breakdowns now highlight key insights at a glance • Charting color options for clearer viewing
