- Bug fixes. Thanks @davidalmanza!
- Added support for Legendary Vehicles and Spacecraft to be set as commander. - Added one more custom Scryfall-style syntax: deck:"deck title". You can now filter your collection and decks by matches to the contents of a specific deck. - Bug fixes.
- Bug fixes.
- You can now apply a tag to all oracle match copies of a card across your collection and decks. Find this new functionality in the Tags screen in settings or when viewing the tag menus. - Tags can now be filtered by the cards associated with them. e.g. When tagging Basalt Monolith you think “This is just like Mana Vault”, you can type in mana vault and see the tags associated with it. - You can now filter by a day count for release date, modified date, and date added. For example, “added>30” will filter cards added in the last 30 days. - You can now filter zones by tags when playtesting. - Added new Shortcuts actions to add new smart lists, deck groups, and tags. - Other minor bug fixes and improvements. If you're enjoying the app, let me know by leaving a rating or review! It really helps, thanks!

This update features a few improvements to the Collection Tracker and deck management. Here’s what’s new: - “Name Match” has been renamed to “Oracle Match” across the app. This should make it clearer that even special prints, non-English cards, and other matches of the same card will be found by the Collection Tracker. - If Oracle Match is selected in the customization settings for the Collection Tracker, you’ll see counts and matches for cards that match but might be a different print, language, promo style, etc., in the card detail screen, in-deck results for search, and the Add to Deck menu. - You can now exclude decks from the Collection Tracker, making their contents not count towards what’s detected by your Collection Tracker. - You can now lock decks to prevent accidental edits or deletions. - Commander decks with “infinite combo” in their notes are automatically excluded from low-power brackets. - Drag to tag is back! Just drag cards onto tag sections when grouped by tag to quickly organize and sort cards by tag. - Other minor improvements.
Bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

I’m excited to share the latest updates and features in version 5.2. Here’s what’s new: New - Lion’s Eye Plus subscribers can download English/Default card data for offline search and scanning. This means you can browse and find what you need, even without an internet connection! - I’ve added a feature that allows subscribers to take a photo or add a photo of a card directly in the card’s Customize form. Now, you can personalize your collection even more! - Subscribers can now use “has:photo” to filter your collection and decks, making it super simple to find cards with photos attached. Improved - I’ve simplified the experience by deprecating the “Flow” view. You can now enjoy the new “Extra Large” size option, making it easier to see your cards. - The new “Extra Large” size option now has corresponding custom Scryfall-style syntax “size:xl” or “size:extralarge”. - I’ve removed the non-foil and foil steppers in the scanner due to a performance-related bug. I understand this may be an inconvenience, but they may return in a future update as I continue to improve the app. As always, thank you for your support and feedback. I’m committed to making your experience better with every update. If you have questions or comments, feel free to reach out!
- Added support for the new Scryfall syntax "is:default"/"is:nondefault" and their aliases "typical", "normal", "traditional", "baseline”, and "atypical", "abnormal", "nontraditional", respectively. - Added the ability to set order, direction, and display modes via Scryfall syntax. - Fixed an issue where the deck warning would pop up in a deck when filtering because the commander isn't part of the filtered results. - Other minor bug fixes and performance improvements. Scryfall search syntax is now natively supported for Lion's Eye Plus subscribers! You can now use familiar search terms like “c:u t:creature” when filtering your collection or decks to instantly find all blue creatures in your collection or decks. Update your collection and decks in the in-app settings, then try it out and see how more powerful searching has become. I’ve been tirelessly mapping Scryfall’s powerful search capabilities to work without an internet connection. It even supports negating terms, using “or”, and nesting terms in parentheses. I’ve also added exclusive Lion’s Eye functions to make collection management even better. Now you can filter by attributes tracked by Lion's Eye like quantity, nonfoil, foil, favorite, card condition, purchase price, and more. Some examples: “is:favorite” to find favorites, “condition:mp” to find cards in moderately played condition. Visit lionseye.craft.me/syntax to learn more. Most Scryfall functions are available offline, and a huge amount of work has gone into making Lion’s Eye the best way to manage your collection and build decks anywhere. Some syntax that references cards or sets outside of your collection will continue to require network availability. What else? Here are a few other changes: - Added the ability to pinch to zoom in the default scanning mode. - Added the ability to save all images in the deck visualization screen. - Added the ability to customize and reorder the sections in the advanced filter/advanced search form. - Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Commander decks now estimate a bracket based on the new beta brackets system introduced by WOTC. At first, the estimate accounts for Game Changers, Mass Land Denial, Extra Turns, and Tutors. In the future, the app will detect 2-card combos and add the ability to override the bracket with your own choice. If you find cards show up or are missing as Mass Land Denial, Extra Turns, or Tutors, please email me at lionseyeapp@gmail.com or message me in the Discord.
A quick fix to address a scanning issue that may have affected some users.
This update has significant speed and performance enhancements, all thanks to the invaluable contributions of the wonderful individuals who kindly provided specific feedback and details. I sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback! Also, a new chart has been introduced that displays the number of mana sources in a deck. The chart also includes a recommended range, which takes into account the deck’s size, the number of high-mana value cards, and the archetype of the deck, providing a range of the appropriate number of lands and ramp pieces to include in the deck.
Bug fix for Wish List cards sometimes not appearing. Thanks for the bug reports, everyone!
Happy New Year, Everyone! Lion’s Eye is starting the year with version 5.0! It lays the foundation for a number of planned new features and improvements for 2025 and refreshes a few elements of its design for a modern look and feel. Here’s what’s new: - The card detail screen has been improved, featuring bigger card images and layout and gesture tweaks that emphasize the beauty of the card artwork. Lion’s Eye always tries to put the cards and artwork first, allowing you to connect with your collection like you're holding actual cards. - When using the search bar in your collection or decks, you can now add multiple comma-separated terms. This feature allows you to parse your collection in even more flexible ways. - The “recently viewed card” bar can now be minimized to either the left or right side of your screen. To expand it, simply drag just before the middle of the screen. Dragging down will dismiss the view.
