Some small changes under the hood hopefully making syncing between devices smoother.
This is an important update fixing a sync bug. Previously if you downloaded the app on one device and then a second or third your data appears to be gone. This was a sync issue where the app had accidentally deleted all the sections you had and thus did not show any folders. This update fixes that bug while giving you a way to recover these folders in the settings view. If you had downloaded the app and your folders and links were missing you can now recover what you had lost.
This update is the biggest update of Bridges so far. It focuses on bringing the app into the modern era with iOS 26 support and a feature I have long wanted to add shortcuts. The app has had a lack of updates over the past year because life had been very busy. I spent the summer redoing lots of aspects of the iOS and iPadOS versions of the app to modernize it. I hope it has been worth the wait. And I will be continuing to work on the app on a more frequent basis. Shortcuts is something I have wanted to add to the app for some time. I finally have added this feature with an extensive list of actions. If you are enjoying the app please leave a review it would help the app a lot to get more visibility. Thanks for checking out Bridges!
This version will look mostly the same but has some under the hood changes. Images are handled differently from the app now. The app should function much faster and more reliable. Sorry for the lack of updates these past months but I plan on adding more features in the near future.
This update adds support for the dark and tinted App icon options. Apologies for the lack of updates on this app I have a big update planned in the near future.
Version 1.4 includes the following: - A redesigned folder view - Improvements for iPad - Onboarding screens - Fixes some share sheet bugs - Other various small changes
This update fixes a bug when adding a new link or folder. There was a chance the link would not be added as the newest link and could cause issues reordering items. If some items are out of order in this update reordering them will fix this from now on.
Bridges 1.2 brings a reader view to the app. Now you can read articles right from the app with a great reading experience. You will still be able to save notes when saving a link and copy the link in the format you like. This is just adding a little more to the app to further expand its capabilities. This update uses Nate Parrott's excellent Reeed library for the new reader view.
Bug fixes and other small things.
Bug fixes.
Hello! This update fixes a few bugs and adds one new feature. Re ordering! You can now reorder sections, folders, and links in folders. Sorry it took so long to add this one but I didn't want to ship it until it was done right. Hope you enjoy.
Minor changes under the hood and some bug fixes.
Bridges version 1.1 includes: - Add a note to a link - Share all links in a folder with multiple formats - Clear all links in a folder - Change the title of a section - Copy items in a section in multiple formats - Share items in a section in multiple formats - Context menu options for a folder - Set a default folder - Fixed the bug where you can’t make a folder if there is no folders already - Setup folders aren’t auto generated anymore - These and other small features and bug fixes Thank you to everyone who has tried out Bridges or recommended it. I have been surprised in the best way by the initial feedback for the app. Sorry this update has come so far after the initial launch. I plan to do more frequent updates with smaller changes from now on. As always let me know any features or things you think the app can use.
