Fixed: the scan no longer restarts on its own, and no longer runs in a different order than the one you chose. Opening a group of similar photos and leaving it unresolved was moving the scan's internal markers backwards. Nothing was lost: the groups you had already reviewed and the photos queued for deletion were never touched. If your scan had got out of order, it settles by itself after one full pass. Changing the sort order in Settings clears it instantly, but that also restarts the scan from the top, which takes a while on a large library. Thanks for using Undolly.

Under the hood Undolly now detects and reports its own analysis failures. When a scan breaks on your library, we find out about it instead of guessing. Nothing changes in how the app looks or works. The analysis can start with your recent photos You asked for this one a lot. Undolly starts at the oldest photo in your library, and for most people that is a decade ago. A decade ago is where you are slowest: you squint, you hesitate, you cannot remember which of four near-identical shots you meant to keep. So there is a second order now, running from the other end. Last week's photos, this month's, the ones you can judge without thinking. It is a different app to use. Turn it on in Settings, under Analysis. It starts the analysis over, and it will say so before it does. Photos that arrive with an old date A photo sent by AirDrop keeps the date it was taken, not the date it reached you. It lands behind wherever Undolly has already looked, so nobody ever saw it. Now it gets picked up. Groups you sorted stay sorted Photos you kept were not always recorded properly, which is why a group you had already dealt with could turn up again weeks later. Fixed. Camera details for every photo Photos from anything that is not an iPhone showed no camera information. They show the same details as the Photos app now. Albums Clean your albums one at a time. Pick one and Undolly searches only inside it for similar photos, or lets you swipe through everything in it, card by card. Two ways to review Albums, Clean a Day and Clean a Month now ask which you want: just the similar photos, or every single item. Date filter on every mode You can now narrow any cleanup mode to a date range, not just some of them. And photos taken just outside your range used to sneak into the results. They no longer do. Live Photos Live Photos looped endlessly while you were trying to compare shots, and sometimes press and hold did nothing at all. They now play once, and they respond every time. Faster loading Opening a cleanup mode used to leave you waiting for the first card, and photos could sit there as blurry thumbnails while Undolly scanned in the background. Both are fixed.
