Version 2.1 fixes a bug that could leave Conjuguer silent and makes the verb and model lists easier to use one-handed. Sound effects could stop playing until the app was relaunched. iOS occasionally restarts the audio system it shares with every app, and it can hand the audio session back after a phone call or a Siri interruption. Conjuguer did not notice either event, so quizzes and the arcade game could fall silent for no apparent reason. The app now watches for both and rebuilds its audio on its own, so sound comes back without a relaunch. On iPhone, the sort control on the Verbs and Models tabs has moved from the top of the screen to the bottom, a thumb's reach from the tab bar rather than a screen away. On iPad it stays above the grid, where it reads as a filter over the verbs and models it governs. The Verbs tab now tells you how many verbs match your search. Rows on both tabs have been tidied up, and a verb's frequency rank is now set in a rounded badge.

Version 2.0 is the biggest update to Conjuguer since launch, adding an on-device AI tutor, real literature examples, Home and Lock Screen widgets, a France-themed arcade game, and a top-to-bottom visual refresh. The headline feature is the Conjugation Tutor on the Info tab. Powered by Apple Intelligence and running entirely on your device, it answers your questions about French verbs and tenses in plain language and remembers your conversation between visits. The Tutor requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence; an explanatory note appears when it is unavailable. Verbs now come with a sense of history and context. Etymologies trace the origins of nearly a thousand of the most common verbs, and example sentences show verbs used in real, properly sourced writing, from the Chanson de Roland and the fables of La Fontaine and the plays of Molière to Wikipedia and public-domain reference texts. Sources are credited on the Info tab. Conjuguer reaches beyond the app, too. A Verb of the Day widget brings a daily verb and its présent conjugations to your Home Screen and Lock Screen, you can start a quiz straight from Control Center, and a Live Activity follows an in-progress quiz from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. For a change of pace, a family-friendly, France-themed Arc de Triomphe arcade game is tucked into Settings, complete with power-ups, music, and haptics. New Conjuguer users are welcomed by a first-launch tour that is re-openable any time. You can dress up your Home Screen with alternate app icons: the Arc, a rooster, a croissant, or a béret. The rest of the app has been refreshed throughout: cleaner cards and color keys, grouped Info articles, richer quiz screens, adaptive iPad layouts, live search filtering of the verb and model lists, helpful in-app tips, and a history of the French verb system. This release also fixes deep-link navigation, corrects the conjugation of several archaic and defective verbs, and resolves a number of smaller issues.

This version adds the fun verbs écoconcevoir, potabiliser, prompter, tanquer, tchiper, and visibiliser. This version also brings a feature from the app's Spanish cousin, Conjugar: during a quiz, when the user inputs an incorrect conjugation, the app shows the correct conjugation.

This version adds new translations for boudiner, bouger, and boulotter. There are changes under the hood that would only interest fellow iOS-app developers.

Conjuguer now supports VoiceOver for visually impaired users.
