Weather on the Way 2.0 brings significant changes to the way the app works during a trip:

– Introducing Real Time Updates – Tap Go Now and the forecast and your route will update automatically as you travel. The app will reroute when changing a route and take into account your position to update the weather forecast.

– Live Activities – See upcoming weather on Dynamic Island and lock screen when using other apps. Live activities are enabled automatically in Go Now mode.

– Navigate in your favorite app – Send your route to Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. You can still keep an eye on the weather in Dynamic Island thanks to Live Activities.

– And much more – With Version 2.0.0 we worked to make Weather on the Way faster and more reliable. We are looking forward to your feedback!

– CarPlay Weather Only Mode – You can now disable directions in CarPlay for full screen weather information

– Snow radar colors – Radar now includes a separate light blue color scale for snow.

• Cycling mode – You can now switch to cycling mode to plan your routes and avoid bad weather. Adjust your cycling speed in settings.

The conditions will automatically update based on your current location and speed. Note that this feature is still in progress, please let us know of any issues or missing features.
