{"appstoreID":1433801905,"title":"PDF Archiver: Scan & Archive","subtitle":"Paperless documents, offline","developerName":"Julian Kahnert","description":"An archive that outlasts the app. Your documents are PDFs in folders sorted\nby year — with the date, a description and tags written into the filename.\nReadable on any machine, with or without this app.\n\nHOW IT WORKS\n\n• Point your iPhone at the page. The scan lands in your inbox, cropped and\n  straight.\n• Apple Intelligence suggests the date, a description and tags — on your\n  device.\n• Check them, fix what's off, save. The document is renamed and moved to your\n  archive.\n• Find it again in PDF Archiver, in Spotlight, in the Finder, or in whatever\n  file manager you happen to open — because the search terms are part of the\n  filename.\n\nAlready have PDFs? Drop them in — from your scanner, a mail attachment, your\ndownloads folder.\n\nWHY PDF ARCHIVER\n\n• Everything stays on your device. Text recognition and suggestions run\n  locally. There is no PDF Archiver server.\n• No account. No sign-up, no password, no email address.\n• You choose where files live: iCloud Drive, a local folder, or any folder\n  you point the app at.\n• No lock-in. Your archive is a folder of PDFs. Copy it to a backup drive, a\n  NAS, a Windows machine — it stays readable.\n• Open source. The code is on GitHub.\n• A person answers. Questions go to one developer, not a ticket queue. Most\n  get a reply within a few hours.\n\nON EVERY DEVICE\n\niPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro. Widgets show what's still untagged.\nShortcuts automate what you do often. The share sheet takes documents from\nany other app.\n\nBUILT SINCE 2018\n\nFirst release in February 2018, still shipping updates today. One developer,\neight years.\n\n\"The Mac app uses a simple file name convention, which simply notes keywords,\ndata and descriptions in the file name of the documents and can therefore be\nused largely independently of the operating system, cloud provider and Mac or\nPC application.\" — iFun\n\nTRY IT, THEN BUY IT\n\nTwo weeks free, no account and no credit card. After the trial you can\nsubscribe — or buy the lifetime licence and keep the app. Prices are listed\nat the top of this page.\n\nCancel whenever you like. Your documents stay readable either way — they are\njust PDFs in a folder.\n\nQUESTIONS\n\nAnswers to the most common ones: pdf-archiver.io/faq\nWrite to us: support@pdf-archiver.io\nThe code is at github.com/PDF-Archiver/PDF-Archiver\n\nPrivacy policy: pdf-archiver.io/privacy\nTerms of use: pdf-archiver.io/terms","bundleID":"de.JulianKahnert.PDFArchiveViewer","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/5d/17/63/5d17634e-a68c-9b90-80a2-e86be859a7a8/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-09-12T18:45:20.000Z","appReleased":"2018-10-17T08:01:11.000Z","version":"4.6.0","platforms":["mac","iphone","ipad"],"minOS":{"iphone":"Requires iOS 18.0 or later.","ipad":"Requires iPadOS 18.0 or later.","mac":"Requires macOS 15.6 or later.","vision":"Requires visionOS 2.0 or later."},"topIAPs":[{"name":"Lifetime License","price":"$26.99"},{"name":"Monthly Subscription","price":"$1.99"},{"name":"Yearly Subscription","price":"$6.99"}],"languages":["EN","DE"],"size":"32.2 MB","category":"Productivity","developerWebsite":"https://pdf-archiver.io/","screenshots":[{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/78/72/a6/7872a6ca-f40c-a5a2-175c-104c111e813e/1-archive.png/2752x2064w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/cf/10/88/cf10884c-c8a9-cd99-7306-145b4c7d1e76/2-scan.png/2752x2064w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/75/4c/d2/754cd2a1-0f7e-d220-77f2-b81ab98ab843/3-tag.png/2752x2064w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/67/27/de/6727deab-35af-5a5f-1e2c-d4705f72d9af/4-keep.png/2752x2064w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a7/09/ae/a709ae03-a42f-c754-11da-33b9574cf4c6/5-find.png/2752x2064w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b9/aa/24/b9aa2410-aadd-ce4a-ec44-3e547b1821f6/1-archive.png/1320x2868w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/21/7f/ed/217fedb9-85a3-5311-5e1c-aafdfeae9618/2-scan.png/1320x2868w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b6/20/96/b6209648-c68f-a001-7b37-0e17c61b6fb3/3-tag.png/1320x2868w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/02/48/50/024850a6-bf58-0d65-5ca2-a2109207a927/4-keep.png/1320x2868w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6c/8e/ca/6c8eca6d-1b10-4a5d-d8ad-a3d5eeab864e/5-find.png/1320x2868w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/c6/be/5d/c6be5d7d-c847-851c-888e-d92848a6bab4/1-archive.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/d3/a9/f7/d3a9f716-9714-1dc7-4c9e-4cc223a827fe/2-tag.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f1/aa/f5/f1aaf5ab-cf13-742c-c37c-bc8226c09399/3-document.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/5f/17/25/5f172578-9774-8e37-3e4a-59449f60c1ea/4-keep.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c0/9d/16/c09d16a7-e9cc-cc2c-c184-ed6c9151d85d/5-privacy.png/2880x1800w.webp"}]}
