{"appstoreID":6804476476,"title":"ReadCount: Book Tracker","subtitle":"Simple reading log & shelves","developerName":"Dane Rich","description":"A reading tracker that stays out of the way. Log what you read, see where you are, and get on with the book.\n\nReadCount is deliberately simpler than other trackers: just you, your shelves and your numbers, in a clean, native app. And your library has no limit: every book, every session and every quote is free.\n\nSEARCH, SCAN, OR TYPE IT IN\nFind a book by title or author, or point the camera at its barcode and it's in your library in a second. Millions of titles, so even an obscure edition turns up. Covers arrive automatically, and you can always pick a different one, or use a photo of your own.\n\nPROGRESS IN PAGES OR PERCENT\nTrack paper books by page, and ebooks or audiobooks by percent. Drag the dial to where you are and your reading log builds itself. Forgot to log yesterday? Back-date it. Got it wrong? Edit or delete any session, any time.\n\nSHELVES THAT ORGANISE THEMSELVES\nEvery author, category, collection, series, format and ownership state is already a shelf. Categories arrive filled in from the book data and stay editable. Arrange the groups, hide the ones you don't want, and pick grid or list per shelf.\n\nQUOTES WORTH KEEPING\nSave the passages you want to remember, and come back to them long after the book is closed. Bring your highlights with you, straight from your ereader, and put a rotating quote on your home screen.\n\nWIDGETS\nWhat you're reading now, with progress. A quote that changes through the day. A lock-screen dial. And a square for every day you read.\n\nREAD IT AGAIN\nFinishing a book doesn't close the book. Start another read-through and it gets its own dates, sessions and dial, while the first stays exactly as you left it.\n\nYOUR LIBRARY IS YOURS\nExport everything, any time, free: one file holding your books, your reading history, every session, your collections, your quotes and all your cover art. Moving from Reading List or Book Tracker? Import straight from their exports.\n\nMADE FOR iPHONE, MAC AND APPLE WATCH\nClean monochrome typography, light and dark done properly, and a design that gets out of the way. A real native Mac app is included, not sold separately. With Supporter, there's an Apple Watch app too, for logging pages with the Digital Crown.\n\n--SUPPORTER--\n\nReadCount's reading log is free and unlimited: every book, every session, every quote, and your library is always yours to export. Supporter adds sync, backups, stats and the Apple Watch app.\n\n- Sync your library between your iPhone and your Mac, privately, in your own iCloud. The Mac app is included: ReadCount is one purchase, everywhere\n- The Apple Watch app: see the books you're reading, log pages with the Digital Crown, and put your current book on your watch face\n- Automatic daily backups to iCloud Drive, where you can pick the file up in Files\n- Statistics: a reading calendar, pages over time, streaks, and every book you've finished broken down by category, rating and length\n- The Reading Activity widget: a square for every day you read\n- Six alternate app icons, including three Pride designs\n\nSupporter is a small monthly or yearly subscription, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. There's also a one-off lifetime unlock if you'd rather never subscribe.\n\nNo ads. No account. No data collected.\n\nPrivacy Policy: https://readcount.app/privacy/\nTerms of Use: https://readcount.app/terms/","bundleID":"Dane-Rich.ReadCount","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e9/bc/93/e9bc9324-72cc-2962-6eba-c12454a14129/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-09-26T23:08:51.000Z","appReleased":"2026-09-04T07:00:00.000Z","version":"1.1","platforms":["mac","watch","iphone"],"minOS":{"iphone":"Requires iOS 26.0 or later.","mac":"Requires macOS 26.0 or later.","watch":"Requires watchOS 26.0 or later."},"languages":["EN"],"size":"52.3 MB","category":"Books","developerWebsite":"https://readcount.app/","screenshots":[{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/07/82/52/0782526f-ce34-2ea6-492d-e86f004aaede/01-library.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/82/f8/7d/82f87d52-7c0d-afc9-d1d1-dfc69ce70cb5/02-progress.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/20/7b/8b/207b8b6e-36ad-82ff-a1c2-3ea59211a46e/03-shelf.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ff/63/6b/ff636bd6-bd6f-4683-88b2-9be1eed9fc00/04-watch.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9a/57/37/9a5737fb-9240-ad3e-2f68-1504779c5d7a/10-widgets.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/19/f4/f5/19f4f5fe-05b5-cebc-595d-e6f96670a6c7/05-shelves.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ca/5b/9f/ca5b9f69-d5fa-b85f-26b0-6d9e4e71d2b4/06-search.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/85/9b/ed/859beded-3e7d-c292-ddc2-dd84d9da322e/07-quotes.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ee/95/56/ee955614-d90c-7028-7da5-de5417cdf13b/08-stats.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/bb/7b/40/bb7b4028-c011-9658-c378-6f37ee1f01b7/09-dark.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b8/06/82/b806827a-624b-8c74-fd90-22d8864c5d9c/01-library.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/25/37/39/2537392a-f4e0-fd43-d284-56453d21a9a6/02-log.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ea/c7/d7/eac7d7c7-039f-005f-3f11-81bee5f989d6/03-stats.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/94/83/6d/94836d76-70da-ddea-a47b-03e2d260f148/04-native.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c4/7e/9e/c47e9e60-04fb-2ccb-17ca-438547fe9f19/01-watch-1.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a2/28/b0/a228b023-a812-ca6c-95d4-e9230ccd1710/02-watch-dial.png/422x514w.webp"}]}
