{"appstoreID":6763610446,"title":"Hotspot Meter: Data Usage","subtitle":"Track Wi-Fi & hotspot data","developerName":"Michal Ferák","description":"Hotspot Meter lives in your Mac's menu bar and shows exactly how much data you're using – in real time, on every network you connect to.\n\nIt's built for anyone on a metered connection: phone hotspots, hotel and café Wi-Fi, travel routers, or any link where every megabyte counts. Glance at the menu bar for live download and upload speeds, open it for per-network totals, and get a native notification before you reach your limit.\n\nWHAT YOU GET\n— Live speeds – real-time download and upload rates, right in the menu bar\n— Session + network totals – usage for the current session and the running total for each network, at a glance\n— Per-network history – every Wi-Fi and hotspot you've used, with cumulative data and first/last-seen dates\n— Usage alerts – pick a limit from 100 MB to 10 GB and get a native macOS notification as you approach it\n— Auto-tracking – optionally start the moment you join a hotspot or tethered connection\n— Flexible menu bar - icon only, session total, network total, or both — or hide the icon and show just the numbers\n— Launch at login - always ready, no setup\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\nHotspot Meter runs entirely on your Mac. Nothing is collected, stored remotely, or transmitted. Location access is requested for one reason only: macOS requires it to read the current Wi-Fi network name, so usage can be grouped per network. No location is ever stored or shared — and the app still works without it (networks just appear as \"Wi-Fi\" instead of by name).\n\nLightweight, native, and unobtrusive - it sits in your menu bar and keeps count.","bundleID":"sk.loam.hotspot-meter","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/20/3d/f2/203df271-21f3-539b-1f76-7366a58bb8d5/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-09-05T01:52:55.000Z","appReleased":"2026-07-21T07:00:00.000Z","version":"1.2","platforms":["mac"],"minOS":{"mac":"Requires macOS 14.0 or later."},"topIAPs":[{"name":"Espresso","price":"$0.99"},{"name":"Cappuccino","price":"$2.99"},{"name":"Flat White","price":"$3.99"}],"languages":["EN"],"size":"3.7 MB","category":"Utilities","developerWebsite":"https://hotspot-meter.loam.sk","screenshots":[{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/07/60/10/07601087-439d-16db-5043-6de392389477/01-live.png/2560x1600w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/84/be/10/84be10d6-8315-11a0-0c99-f47763b4aeb0/04-themes.png/2560x1600w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/85/4a/ee/854aee0a-0df5-4039-1c8e-0c22c128a7d1/02-history.png/2560x1600w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/85/2e/70/852e7060-084d-8689-5464-d8cd74cbc33d/03-alerts.png/2560x1600w.webp"}]}
