{"appstoreID":6781777754,"title":"Pinwheel","subtitle":"Motion Photos to Live Photos","developerName":"Vincent Neo","description":"This application allows you to convert Motion Photos into compatible Live Photo pairs. After conversion, you can import them into the Photos app to view as Live Photos or share to iOS devices with full Live Photo playback capabilities.\n\nBATCH CONVERSION\nWithin the app, you can drag a folder full of Motion Photos for batch conversion. Alternatively, you can select individual images for conversion.\n\nFAST & SIMPLE\nThe conversion process is easy. Simply drag or select Motion Photos that you wish to convert, choose a destination, and Pinwheel will convert them into Live Photo pairs for you. It is also possible to convert and AirDrop individual photos as Live Photos directly within Pinwheel.\n\nLOCAL & SECURE\nNo internet connection is needed for the conversion process. All photos are processed locally on your Mac, ensuring that your photos stay secure.\n\nMETADATA PRESERVED\nEXIF data such as capture date, device model, exposure settings, and lens information are retained in the converted Live Photo.\n\nThe app has been tested with JPEG and HEIC based Motion Photos taken from modern supported devices.\n\nEnsure that photos used for conversions are Motion Photos, not regular photos. While a Motion Photo file behaves and looks much like any regular .jpg or .heic image, they contain a short video clip within the image file itself. Pinwheel is able to tell if an image file is a Motion Photo or a regular photo by reading its metadata. Note that unlike Live Photos, not all Motion Photos have audio. \n\nPinwheel is free to try with a limited number of conversions. If it works well for you, do consider the unlimited conversions option, which is a one-time purchase.\n\nIf you encounter any issues converting a known Motion Photo, please feel free to email me at contact@vincentneo.com with a sample Motion Photo file.\n\nPrivacy Policy: https://vincent-neo.com/privacy\nTerms (Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/","bundleID":"com.vincent-neo.LiveLink","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/a0/36/60/a03660c2-6d65-3bf0-8ae8-17a144a8d304/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-08-14T00:44:54.000Z","appReleased":"2026-07-02T07:00:00.000Z","version":"1.1","platforms":["mac"],"minOS":{},"languages":["EN"],"size":"8.1 MB","category":"Photo & Video","developerWebsite":"","screenshots":[{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6b/4b/f6/6b4bf6ef-0252-2132-0b58-da347be16c83/Convert.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/83/e7/54/83e754a0-7a3e-4c1e-a10b-91157aed408a/DragDrop.png/2880x1800w.webp"}]}
