{"appstoreID":6751937260,"title":"Sunshine Weather","subtitle":"Beautifully presented BoM data","developerName":"Matt Kelsh","description":"\"I'm so proud of your work on this app\" – My mum.\n\nSunshine turns Australian weather data into something clear, useful, and nice to look at.\n\nNo account required.\nNo newsletters.\nNo ads.\n\n▶ FREE FEATURED PLACE\nEvery day, Sunshine picks a Featured Place - somewhere across Australia, from Uluru to Dubbo, and gives you the full weather experience for it, free. A new place each day, no subscription needed.\n\n▶ BOM DATA\nObservations and forecasts come from real-time BOM data. Rainfall probability, wind, temperature trends, and UV at a glance. The timeline adapts to what matters — incoming rain, or the day's UV peak.\n\n▶ SUNSETS & TIME TRAVEL\nScroll back to last night's rain, forward to Thursday's forecast, then reset to now. The sky transitions between weather conditions and between day and night as you go.\n\n▶ RAIN RADAR\nPowered by BOM radars. Animated overlays show where the rain is, how heavy it is, and when it arrives. Simple and solid.\n\n▶ DESIGN\nSunshine tells you a lot about the weather, but not everything. Deliberately. Complex data is presented with clear visualisation, sensible grouping, and colour-coded conditions you can read at a glance. Weather shouldn't need decoding. \n\n▶ CELSIUS, KM/H, MILLIMETRES\nThe French sorted this out in the 19th century. We show nothing else.\n\n▶ PRIVACY\nNothing is tracked. Location data never leaves your device. Sunshine fetches weather data and nothing else, because that would be creepy.\n\n▶ WHAT'S FREE\n- Full weather for the daily Featured Place\n- Rain radar for the Featured Place\n- Home screen widgets for the Featured Place\n- Apple Watch app for the Featured Place\n- BOM observations and forecasts\n- Beautiful design, no ads\n\n▶ WHAT'S PAID\nA subscription unlocks all of Australia:\n- Search and save any of 33,000+ Australian places\n- Automatic weather for your current location\n- Home screen widgets for your own saved places\n- Apple Watch app for your own places\n\nTerms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/","bundleID":"design.mattro.sunshine","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/5b/5b/6c/5b5b6c4d-2bdb-1203-2e2f-acc62769c431/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-09-21T22:28:48.000Z","appReleased":"2026-03-13T07:00:00.000Z","version":"1.1.0","platforms":["watch","iphone"],"minOS":{"iphone":"Requires iOS 26.4 or later.","watch":"Requires watchOS 26.4 or later."},"languages":["EN"],"size":"31.1 MB","category":"Weather","developerWebsite":"https://mattro.design/sunshine/","screenshots":[{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/86/7f/e4/867fe4bd-add5-4b28-aa3d-4370d0c93b5b/01.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/30/30/fe/3030fefe-02cb-b31f-9127-45597a957650/02.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/75/72/35/75723583-800e-abe5-f5d8-4a518f5f00c3/03.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c3/52/7f/c3527fc8-2fcf-dfe2-56c0-4f3bb9c7e7ad/04.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0d/34/15/0d341569-9d57-1368-0b62-079dd7a52e3b/05.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6c/6d/31/6c6d3128-1a5a-c198-cf67-2c9c9ba3c612/06.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/55/9f/45/559f4546-855d-af87-bf36-56f92fa876e5/07.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/37/96/e6/3796e676-a37f-e172-6e6b-174033e58c1c/08.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/3b/75/79/3b757995-1f5b-a40b-d161-a961603050e8/09.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/fb/7f/53/fb7f535f-46dd-fae8-f9a6-e734d81e662b/watch_01.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/59/f8/c0/59f8c016-3713-e607-b269-4ac8d7e9fef8/watch_02.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/90/9b/aa/909baa11-7468-7676-e029-e092b004075f/watch_03.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/36/3a/a3/363aa39a-2162-f18d-96aa-7b2cbe04b426/watch_04.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/83/f1/0c/83f10c68-1c45-15ae-f0f6-de80159b1e99/watch_05.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/24/09/a7/2409a7c4-79f5-b79b-f433-599232ebffb8/watch_06.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/38/dc/2f/38dc2f7c-bbb9-0a14-6762-d30c9a5b6fe9/watch_07.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f8/b3/79/f8b379b2-db6e-1d50-9523-e16250021d4b/watch_08.png/422x514w.webp"},{"platform":"watch","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/31/ed/99/31ed995a-e05d-150d-860e-0af957a8b1f2/watch_09.png/422x514w.webp"}]}
