{"appstoreID":1554897185,"title":"Past for iChat","subtitle":"Open old iChat chat histories.","developerName":"ZeeZide GmbH","description":"Past for iChat is a little application to open and view old chat log files created by Apple's iChat application (.ichat and .chat files) on macOS Big Sur and later. iChat was the predecessor of the new and improved Messages app.\n\nStarting with macOS Big Sur the refreshed Messages application doesn't support opening old iChat chat log files anymore. Past for iChat keeps your history alive by allowing you to open those.\n\nThe application also features Markdown, PDF and HTML exports of the chat logs and a Quick Look plugin for previewing chat logs in Finder, Spotlight or other applications.\n\nNOTE: This application is only useful for people with older iChat chat log files (usually older than 7 years). I.e. this app does neither open files created by later macOS versions themselves, nor iPhone chat logs.","bundleID":"de.zeezide.swift.see1.apps.past4ichat","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e9/45/f8/e945f8a6-78b0-8518-1ad3-7bf9a478ac4d/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"$14.99","appUpdated":"2026-07-19T16:21:47.000Z","appReleased":"2021-02-25T08:00:00.000Z","version":"1.4.2","platforms":["mac"],"minOS":{"mac":"Requires macOS 11.0 or later."},"topIAPs":[],"languages":["EN","FR","DE","ES"],"size":"7.5 MB","category":"Productivity","developerWebsite":"https://zeezide.de/en/products/past/","screenshots":[{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/c7/d6/0b/c7d60bdf-984e-a55d-19ef-f8944f99f937/01-open-hero.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/ee/81/a3ee81fc-1f36-8a80-51cd-7e5a30699f97/02-browse-light.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/85/b2/35/85b235d9-9bea-9655-4165-50bb0f146a9f/03-export-dark.png/2880x1800w.webp"}]}
