{"appstoreID":1559259054,"title":"Dyslexia & ADHD: dys reading","subtitle":"Neurodivergent font & spacing","developerName":"michael dardol","description":"Find the on-screen reading settings that suit you.\n\nFor dyslexic and ADHD readers, children and adults alike — and for anyone who tires quickly on screen.\n\nThis app is a settings lab: experiment with fonts (including OpenDyslexic), text size, letter and line spacing, and colors on a sample text — and see the result instantly.\n\nIMPORTANT — This app is not a screening or diagnostic tool. Dyslexia is diagnosed by a qualified professional (speech-language pathologist). This app only helps you explore display preferences.\n\nWHY SPACING MATTERS\nIn a controlled study published in PNAS (Zorzi et al., 2012), increasing the space between letters immediately improved reading accuracy in children with dyslexia — with no training. Effects vary from reader to reader, which is exactly why testing your own settings matters.\n\nWHAT YOU CAN DO\n- Try different fonts and compare them on the same text\n- Adjust text size, letter spacing and line spacing\n- Test text and background colors for your visual comfort\n- Send feedback and suggest new settings\n\nOnce you know what works for you, apply your preferences in our other apps (Scandys, Navidys, School tool) or in your device's accessibility settings.","bundleID":"fr.mdapps.DyslexiaReadingTest","appiconURL":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b7/43/17/b74317bf-ed61-bae8-d381-9b9d60cfe67a/Placeholder.mill/1024x1024w.webp","formattedPrice":"Free","appUpdated":"2026-08-24T17:30:15.000Z","appReleased":"2021-03-21T07:00:00.000Z","version":"2.0.3","platforms":["mac","iphone","ipad"],"minOS":{"iphone":"Requires iOS 17.0 or later.","ipad":"Requires iPadOS 17.0 or later.","mac":"Requires macOS 14.0 or later.","vision":"Requires visionOS 1.0 or later."},"languages":["EN","FR","DE"],"size":"3.9 MB","category":"Education","developerWebsite":"https://www.michaeldardol.com/","screenshots":[{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/1c/2c/c9/1c2cc929-100f-ebfd-6465-44f20e4d0a7b/01_home_framed.png/2064x2752w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f3/4c/7f/f34c7f55-c491-6b90-3497-76ba0b3db8f0/02_reader_framed.png/2064x2752w.webp"},{"platform":"ipad","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b4/b6/19/b4b61913-621c-7835-ec3b-5d82ea885156/03_settings_fonts_framed.png/2064x2752w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/88/9a/8e/889a8ee3-b132-b873-a895-8fc6d8336f33/01_home_framed.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ee/bd/74/eebd74c6-476d-10aa-45d7-aef531bc5ce0/02_reader_framed.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"iphone","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b4/0c/77/b40c77c1-42bc-b2a4-2975-ac8ef7990df0/03_settings_fonts_framed.png/1242x2688w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9e/12/7d/9e127d51-1bcf-ac5f-708a-b718db0ba263/01_home_2880x1800.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/31/7e/cd/317ecde6-5553-777e-40dd-8599d4cc6e27/02_reader_2880x1800.png/2880x1800w.webp"},{"platform":"mac","url":"https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e8/7b/42/e87b4232-05c3-dcf0-02d3-66dc53719c0b/03_settings_2880x1800.png/2880x1800w.webp"}]}
